I liked everything!!!

The hotel provides excellent service and very friendly staff. When leaving the hotel for a restaurant trip without my car, Hugo at the front desk suggested he could use our car to pick us up at the restaurant at our desired time. Very elegant and a 5 star worth. The food is very nice and Vito in the kitchen an excellent chef who makes the best omelet possible on request for breakfast.

We ordered a site with a sofa for our daughter accompanying us. The eur 300/added to room charge for the quality of that bed was ridiculous. Assume we could have ordered another room at the same price. Rooms to the back have no sun whatsoever.

Its huge rooms, confortable beds and full equiped bathrooms, not to mention the magnificent pool! This was our second visit to Cascade and each visit exceeded our expectations.

Few beds near the pool, need more beds during July and August whith high occupancy.

We were at the Cascade for a three night stay in August 2012. The apartment that we were given was clean, functional and relatively comfortable. Our children's sofa bed, however, was appallingly uncomfortable. Nice pool area.

We feel very strongly that the Cascade is an overpriced hotel, which does not deserve its 5 stars. The facilities are relatively clean and comfortable, but also completely bland and characterless. The pictures of the rooms and apartments that are shown on booking.com to be misleading in this regard. Though we booked our reservation five months in advance, we were handed a mediocre, poorly-located apartment, right next to a soccer field. The information on the hotel seem to suggest it is located next to a beach, but in fact very few rooms and apartments have sea views. We expected a lot more, given the price we paid for the apartment. Service at the hotel is lacklustre and the hotel reception is slow and incompetent. We recommend that visitors to the Algarve look for better hotel options in the region for the same or lower prices.

This hotel is 5* without doubt. The restaurant will easily win a michelin star soon. The spa is amazing. The cleanliness was perfect. The staff where the best we have met in a long time. The best hotel I have been to in a long time and I visit a lot as have a business within the industry supplying them Globally.

The staff were excellent and the accomodation was very good. Pools were good.

It hasn't yet been finished so there was some work going on during the days

The staff was incredible- very helpful, wonderfully positive and genuinely glad to help. The resort was beautiful and the location was perfect- it was a very peaceful place to be and I loved walking down to the beach.

nur eine Kategorie Meerblickzimmer buchbar, aber es gibt dabei (dunklere) Zimmer mit schmaleren Fenstern und Balkonen ohne Liegestühle, und welche mit breiten Fenstern und breiten Balkonen mit Liegestühlen. (evtl. sind die preiswerteren Internetangebote eher immer die dunkleren Zimmer ??) , im Frühstücksraum sehr hohes Geräuschniveau durch permanentes, lautes Stühlescharren, Kinderlärm (Apparmentvermietung) und Geschirrklappern, zumindest das Stühlescharren wäre technisch leicht zu lösen, und die Mitarbeiter könnten ggf. etwas "leiser" arbeiten (abräumen), das Frühstück ist nur Durchschnitt, aber damit eher nicht 5* Standard (keine vor Ort frisch-gepressten Säfte, Eier etc. nur aus den üblichen Warmhaltebehältern), keine Kaffeekannen am Tisch, bzw. evtl. nur auf ausdrückliches Bitten damit man nicht laufend nach dem "Kaffee-Nachgiesser" Ausschau halten muss, speziell wenn man am Rand des Raumes sitzt, Klimaanlage/Heizung auch in der kleinsten möglichen Stufe deutliche Zugluft, dann nur abschalten möglich. nach einem abendlichen Stromausfall im Hotel um 22:00Uhr für ca. eine Stunde, (tagsüber Regen) bei dem die gesamte Elektrik (Strom/Licht etc.) im 3 Sekunden-Rythmus immer wieder an- und ausging (Elektronik), gab es am nächsten Nachmittag ein Entschuldigungsschreiben und 4 kleine rote Bonbons !!!, ok, ein solcher Stromausfall sollte nicht sein, aber kann ja mal vorkommen, aber dann zum Trost im 5*Sternehotel 4 kleine rote Bonbons??, da wäre vielleicht ein kleiner 5€ Entschuldigungs-Gutschein für die Bar dem Hotelstandard angemessener gewesen und hätte dort sicher noch für viel mehr Umsatz gesorgt, insgesamt gibt es beim Hotel-Betrieb noch viele Möglichkeiten sich zu steigern.

Superbe piscine Superbe plage Appartement tres bien equipe, attention hoisissez l'appartement, çertes en retrait de la pisçine mais tres pratique avec des enfants (machine a laver, etc...) Personnel parlant francais et vraiment tres eserviable quand present, le reste du personnel vous prenant de haut comme a l'habitude lorsque vous etes ds un 5 etoiles.

Tres mauvaise insonorisation, surtout avec des Anglais bruyants autour...reclamez un appartement isole ! Bruits environnants de chaufferie, de voisinnage ds un 5 etoiles: pas normal. Aucune compensation de l'hotel quand oblige de changer de chambre cause bruits environnants. Niveau de servce vraiment moyen a ce niveau de prix ! Prix exhorbitant moins cher sur le site de l'hotel en direct Petit dejeuner a 60 euros pr une famille. Jamais vu les managers alors que je me suis plaint du bruit plusieursnfois. Aucune excuse...alors que vous laissez 1350 euros pour 4 nuits

Proximidade da praia. Simpatia dos funcionários. Piscina de areia optima para as crianças. Restaurantes.

Sus instalaciones. Excelente personal y atención esmerada. Se respira y disfruta de gran paz y tranquilidad.

Das zweite mal hier, immer noch alles paletti. Auch im August (Hochsaison) ist der Erholungswert hoch. Zimmer und Hotelanlagen dem Preis entsprechend gut.

Kleine Abstriche wenn wichtig: WiFi Bandbreite ungenügend. Frühstück gut sortiert aber jeden Tag exakt dasselbe ohne Variation. Nachtessen eher mittelmässig. Duselige Fahrstuhlmusik bis in die Nacht hinein in vielen Bereichen der Hotelanlage. Ein Auto ist nötig, bis Lagos ist es ca. 30 min. zu Fuss, bei 30°C vielleicht nicht jedermann's Sache.

Un vrai 5* aux services dignent de sa catégorie. Délicates attentions: corbeille de fruit, bouteilles d'eau... Mini tartelettes en fin d'apres midi. Piscine somptueuse. Inoubliable

Es un hotel fabuloso, agradable, con algunos detalles sorpresa, en la piscina ofrecen gratuitamente algún refresco,helado e incluso nos invitaron a una clase de submarinismo. El entorno tranquilo y playa espectacular, el acceso complicado pero es una playa entre acantilados.

Para adictos a la televisión no hay ningún canal en español.

Het totaal was zeer teleurstellend. Wij dachten een kamer (appartement) in een 5 sterren hotel geboekt te hebben. In plaats daarvan kom je in een vakantieverhuur benedenwoning een paar straten verder op met uitzicht op een voetbalveld. Meer het Center Parcs idee, dan een 5 sterren hotel gevoel. Dit blijkt niet uit de beschrijving bij Booking.com, anders hadden we dit zeker niet geboekt. Jammer ook dat je de bewegingen van de bovenburen goed kon horen (WC, douche, stoelen). Het hotel ligt wel dicht bij zee, maar het strand is vrijwel onbereikbaar. Met kleine kinderen is de afdaling zeker niet aan te raden. Wij hadden toch een hele andere voorstelling van wat je voor meer dan 300 EUR per nacht !! mag verwachten. Wij komen nooit meer terug.

Hotel de très grand confort et discret. Peu de chambres (85) donc sentiment de tranquillité. Chambre (vue sur mer et petite terrasse) très spacieuse. Piscine en débordement incroyablement grande et magnifique. Plage quasi privé en bas de la falaise si besoin. Personnel compétent, de qualité pour ce type d'hotel. Business center pour ceux qui "aiment" travailler pendant leurs vancances. Même si nous avons préferé sortir souvent manger à l'extérieur, les 2 fois où nous avons au restaurant, c'était divin, bien présenté et très abordable pour la qualité dispensée. Succulent Nous avons beaucoup aimé et recommandons.

Une futilité: le wifi n'est pas très stable autour de la piscine.

Interdiction d'accéder au spa pour les enfants, c'est incompréhensible en période de congés scolaires et devrait être modulé en fonction des heures et/ou jours par exemple.
