Trendy décor and a central location await guests at this 3-star hotel, situated steps from Marques do Pombal Square and Eduardo VII Park. The Liberty Avenue is just 320 yards from Hotel Expo Astoria.

The stylish Hotel Fenix Garden is on the Marquês de Pombal Square in the center of Lisbon. Eduardo VII Park and Marques Pombal Metro Station are just steps away.
Score from 2106 reviews Excellent
I cannot recommend this place enough! The rooms are beautifully decorated and after three weeks of traveling the bed and the shower were a dream. The most comfortable bed out of everywhere I stayed. There was a great selection for breakfast and the staff were very helpful and friendly.
The facilities were outstanding. Breakfast was excellent with a lot of varieties. The location was great few minutes away from a metro station. Staff on site 24hrs. Very friendly staff and helpful. WIFI worked well around the exceptionally comfortable facilities.
-nice breakfast, good variety plus fresh strawberries, melons, oranges and kiwi fruits -clean, nicely refurbished -pleasant, polite staff -close to the pombal square - 3-4 metro stops away from the centre, airport is approx 13 metro stops away (one has to change the lines once) -24/24 hour reception
-toilet paper must be stored separately, cannot be thrown into the toilet -despite of our wish of a quiet room, we have received a room overlooking the main street - a bit noisy -bed is a single one with one big sheet -bathroom is not fully separated from the room -orange juice is made of some kind of a syrup for breakfast
Perfect location, very clean place, staff very helpful and kind, quite rooms.
The staff was very friendly.
Colours, location, design...
Location Breakfast Interior design Everything!
The hotel was great, almost brand new and all clean, location perfect a few meters from Marques de Pombal square and metro
The welcome could not have been have been better. Warm, friendly and extremely helpful. Every person working at Castilho House could not have been better. Breakfast was excellent, rooms comfortable.
Arriving at night the outside appearance is very uninviting and gloomy. Trying to get to the lift in the dark difficult. It would be improved by having an attractive outside lamp and clearer instructions on how to get to the fifth floor. Once at the fifth floor every is great.
They say small is beautiful and it is certainly true as far as Castilho House is concerned. We will certainly return.
Location is good, just a 10 min walk from metro station. Staff was nice and helpful. The whole place is just gorgeous, sparkling clean and quiet too. Breakfast was good with nice variety. Wonderful place to stay in Lisbon.
We both loved this place very much. It's a b&b located on the fifth floor of a nice building. The room was spacious, very clean and had all the comfort we needed. Florentina (our host) made our stay twice as nice, she was super friendly and very helpful. Next time when we'll travel to Lisbon we'll definitely stay here again.
One of the most wonderful stay during our Portuguese travel: - personal, simple and smart welcoming word on the board, - very friendly, more like home than hotel atmosphere, - great interior design- highly elaborated in best quality and in each detail, - high quality of room, lounge and kitchen equipment - very kind, helpful and personal attitude of the stuff: f.ex. the breakfast was prepared especially for us the previous evening while our flight was very early in the morning.
Nice room and very clean. Towels changed daily. Soap / shower gel provided daily. Reasonable breakfast (although no vegetables). Reasonable location (10-15 min to metro station; around 30-45 min to center - on the way down).
Quite minor "minuses": The fact that room is only available starting 2 pm (I arrived at 1pm after a 16h ravel, and "even if the room were free / ready, the system would only allow check-in at 2pm"....). No vegetables at breakfast (e.g. tomatoes; cucumber, olives - nothing). The fact that the building door is looked and no key is provided so every time you wish to return to the room you have to call the interphone.
A modern, spotless, stylish residence. Lovely rooms with a great (small) bathroom. Additional facilities include a guests' lounge with TV, free wifi and pleasant breakfast with choices. The pleasant staff allowed us to drop our bags in the morning allowing us to explore Lisbon. Close to Metro station.
Lift was rather small. Didn't like the pod coffee at breakfast...would be better with filter coffee.
Central location. Room is nice enough even though mattress was too hard for us. Staff was polite but not heartfelt. Got the impression that a lot of Portuguese visit.
Breakfast was quite boring (4 days the same...). Breakfast room way too small. The outside is an office building, hotel is on the fifth floor and the rest of the building is dark and feels empty.
Well Located Clean
Loud noise in the bathroom when using shower
It was small and private, friendly staff, very close to Hertz car hire, breakfast was sufficient and capsule coffee very good (compared to some bigger hotels in Portugal)
There was no separating door to the toilet, so that was a little weird. The hotel is located on 5th floor so you always need to ring the bell at the entrance and take the elevator.
Its central location - it's close to a bus stop and a metro station. It's quite new and well decorated. Breakfast is excellent!!
Our room was next to the breakfast room. It was room 506. We couldn't sleep because of the strong noise coming from the kitchen (we guess it was the fridge). They couldn't change our room so we had to buy earplugs. If you go there, ask for a room far from the breakfast room.
Super clean and very good breakfast. Bed very comfy and room is modern
Bathroom is not a separate room. it has a partition wall that doesn't go all the way up and a glass dor, so you can hear everything that happens in there from the bed or sofa. there are no common areas to relax in, so we felt that we had to stay in our room while visiting them. You have to walk about 3 blocks to get to the subway and the hotel is about a 20 min walk to the turist area.
The comfort and cleanliness is excellent
The personnel us nice
Its not worth the price, you can get a much better place for your money. This is not an hotel and neither a guest house, its the 5 floor of an old office building. To enter you ring the bell , wait a while in the street for the building door to open, Then you enter an ugly hall and go up in a rundown elevator. The "reception" is dark an no natural light, so is the long corridor. We booked a deluxe room and got a small room, no closet, the light comes from the bathroom, when you open the door everybody can look inside, the air condition was very noisy, of course no coffe or iron or hair dryer in the room. We slept with the "nice" noise of the hotel running water just behind our bed. But at least the personal is very friendly
Very good breakfest serving till 11 am so you can sleep long :). Very clean room (cleaned and polished every day). Comfortable bed.
Lack of ventilation in bathroom.
Great ambiance, very friendly people, nice breakfast, very comfort and modern rooms. Located in the hart of Lisbon. I recommend this bed and breakfast to all who would like to visit Lisbon!
