Lovely apartment complex. We went in Winter so enjoyed the indoor pool, sauna and jacuzzi (no extra charge). Outdoor pools looked lovely but only for the brave in winter! There was also a gym which we didn't use but looked very nice. Also used the tennis court (€5 per person) which was in good condition. Staff were friendly and helpful. The complex is in a good location overlooking the old town of Albufeira (the less 'touristy' part). It was a 5 minute walk down steps to get into the town centre for the restaurants, bars, etc. No problem for the young and healthy but quite a climb back for the elderly or those with young children. Loved everything, but quite a steep 5-min walk into town, so not so good for the elderly or those with young children.

The location with regard to Albufera town square is fantastic, it is close enough to walk within five minutes however there are 99 steps and a steep hill on the way back which are quite a challenge!! because the hotel is situated up on the hill, there is little if any disturbance caused by the bars, clubs or nightclubs. The Spa, although well equiped and clean is quite compact and bijou.... It does get very busy at times.

The apartment had everything we needed,it was very clean and spacious. The pools in our block were again clean, and there were plenty sunbeds with a pool bar to finish it off. It was in a very good location, up a hill with lots of stairs but the climb was worth it. I also enjoyed the gym and spa vacilities.

the design. the staff were friendly. the exterior pools were freezing. Even the baby's pool, so no use as it would have been cruel to put a toddler in there.

We loved the location. We were just beside the lovely old town. The apartment was spotless, cleaned daily and we had a beautiful sea view. The 100 steps to the old town were not a problem at all.Would strongly recommend Cerro Mar Garden . Liked everything about it.

Apartments fantastic, very modern, airy, clean, well located, and loved the fact of the 94 steps right down into the old town, just a few minutes away. Would defnitely stay here again in the future & recommend to friends.! Think it would be a good idea to have a Hairdryer in apartments!! Didnt like all the scrawny cats around the complex, and one would want to be sure to close the door into complex quickly to keep them out!!

We liked the fact that when we asked in our booking for a room up high to enjoy the view it was no problem. We were on the 6th floor and had a fantastic view. Also the cleaning staff were great. Our 4 year old wet his sheets by accident one night and there was no problem in getting fresh sheets. We washed them ourselves but had no way of drying them. The girls working in the bar were excellent. We would love to come back and we will reccomend the hotel to family and friends. We didn't like the fact that the glass doors from the outside pool into the spa/toilet facilities were closed. It meant that to go to the bathroom we had to go through reception or the bar. It's a little awkward when wearing a swim suit.We also found the reception staff very cold. They came across a little uninterested and at times rude.

Very Nice Hotel of a high standard. Rooms very modern, both Atlantico and Gardens have rooms of a similar standard. Very close to the old town. Good facilities, however during "high" season the facilities of the Gardens cannot be used by residents of the Atlantico. We had no issues in April 2012. We would definitely stay here again. Great Hotel and these points are "Nit picking" Some of facilities not in use during low season, Easter 2012. ie 10 pin bowling and Jacuzzi. Steps down to the town may be too much for the elderly or non mobile. No problem for us, its suprisingly close. Outdoor pool not heated. The Atlantico is accross the road from the Garden reception and the area is accessed by a locked gate, then locked appartment block and locked room. Bit of a pain only having one set of keys if your family is not together every second.

Spacious, clean apartment. Pool areas were great, particularly the indoor pool. Excellent location, just 100 odd steps and you are into the old town which is excellent.

the accomodation was good for the price paid very comfortable and clean, the guys on reception ten out of ten for politeness and patience given some of the less well behaved people ,i encountered in there on occasions, the lady however needs a retraining programme on customer service, sultry and abrubt and not helpful or accommodating at all, however the ladies in the spa are lovely so friendly and gentle mannered a treat to spend time in there. The weather was not so good on our visit and so looked forward to a dip in the indoor pool which on arrival necessated a swimming cap (NOT IN THE DESCRIPTION ANYWHERE) at the cost of 4 euro per cap, i have short clean hair and thought this request a little over the top if you have long hair i can understand this but this was disappointing to say the least as i detest things tight to my head therefore missed out on this experience, ive never stayed anywhere on the algarve in 15 years that insists on this so extreme i thought and restricting as too cold for the outdoor pools swimming caps for indoor pool very over the top never known anyone across the algarve do this!!! female receptionist curt and not friendly at all ironing board but no iron ???? you have to borrow one from reception for 2 hours why not just have one in the apts corridors can be noisy if you have inconsiderate landing neighbours

Lovely welcome upon arrival, female receptionist very friendly and efficient. Rooms lovely and very clean. We had a lovely sea view. We had 5 apartments booked in this complex and all families really enjoyed the stay. The spa was lovely and relaxing although a little noisy as the jacuzzi was beside it. There a number of steps leading to the town but the 3 generations were fine with that, we got a taxi home in the evening! 5 mins walk to Lidl and a lovely bar tucked away down one of side streets. Very enjoyable experience would highly recommend this place. All good

The Apartment was great, the view (we were on the top floor) was amazing, the outside area we had was vast ! (room 610 would recommend). The location whilst up the hill was close to everything, a short taxi back is only 3-4 euros. The staff were very helpful and friendly. No problems at all, this is our second visit and will stay again.

Great apartment.. massive! with the benefit of hotel facilities. Great value for money, clean and with a touch of luxury. Great for a family holiday off season with an indoor pool and the old town within walking distance. Heated rooms were needed in March. Read the reviews. We knew what to expect and were not disappointed. If you want a large family apartment with the added bonus of daily cleaning and towels then this is for you, but if you are looking for a four star hotel with entertainment it's probably not.

The apartment was spacious, clean and well serviced and the staff were friendly and helpful. 1. Having to walk up a steep hill dragging our luggage after a long day travelling. 2. had dinner on the night we arrived and my meat was raw. 3. Whilst friendly and mostly helpful the reception staff were very slow and even key pick-up was an ordeal.

Facilities ,security, good price, fine restaurant. The flat was too damp, because it was situated on the ground floor, and because of that we missed also the view to the sea. And no free wi-fi.

Facilities were brilliant and price was good The staff apart from one barmaid were very ignorant and quite unhelpful i.e we asked them to call us a taxi and the receptionist said "maybe" and then charged us 50 cents to ring them

You have your own suite. I forgot my jacket in the suite and they sent it for free back. Big saunas for free! If you want to enter the swimmingpool you have to wear a swimmingcap. If you don't have it, you can buy it for 4,- euro a person. Second of all there is too much chloor in the swimmingpool and jacuzzi.
