Staff were friendly and helpful, room was clean and pleasant, price was very reasonable! A warning to future travellers: learn from our mistake! We compared hotel locations when booking: we went for the Boavista Guest House on the basis that it was the cheapest, though we knew it wasn't very central. In retrospect, we wished we'd booked a more central hotel. There are a lot of hills to climb in Porto, and still more walking to be done to see the port wine lodges in Villa Nova de Gaia across the river, so having a 30 minute walk back to the hotel from the city centre wasn't great.

I didn't quite well understand why, but somehow we were entitled to a glass of a wonderful cold white port wine when we arrived. The lady at the reception was extremely nice. The hotel is in a good location, not too far from the metro, There is a good and quite cheap restaurante just next door. We didn't try breakfast, since it was costing an extra 5 euros. We stayed in a room with an extremely nice renovated bathroom. The room was clean. There is free wifi in the lobby of the hotel. I would definitely consider staying there again when I return to Porto!

The restaurant next door food was good and the service was Great! 24hr Front Desk Support, Cable TV and renovated bathroom, very close to public transportation. Hot water was not always available. Too small for two people. Room smelled. 13" TV

El personal es muy atento y educado. Los baños están recientemente reformados. Dispone de wifi gratuita. Aunque tiene ascensor es necesario subir unos cuatro escalones más para acceder tanto al propio ascensor como ya una vez en la planta a las habitaciones. En nuestro caso esto no supuso un inconveniente, pero creo que es necesario destacarlo para que las personas con dificultades lo tengan presente. El desayuno es bueno, pero el zumo no es natural.

Os funcionários foram muito simpáticos e foram prestáveis em tudo mesmo se à última da hora decidimos que íamos dormir 3 pessoas em vez de 1 :) Pequeno almoço simples mas muito bom. O aquecimento central do quarto não funcionava, mas tenho de realçar a boa vontade dos funcionários que imediatamente disponibilizaram 2 aquecedores portáteis e vários cobertores.

Buena ubicación y transporte. Buen desayuno LImpieza y cambio de toallas buena. Atención buena. Relación calidad precio muy buena. El colchón , hay que cambiarlo y la tv no había ningún canal en castellano. Pero lo bueno supera a lo malo.
