Quite central but not too noisy, upgraded to penthouse with nice large terrace The showers are very poor, little control of the temperature and basically a tap sticking out of the wall, small cubicles |

Near to the underground and shopping possibilities. Quiet hotel. Air conditioning functioned perfectly. There was a separate sleeping room for three adults. Nice but fairly expensive breakfast. Garden and swimming pool were clean and enjoyable. |

The room was large,spacious and clean. The beds were comfortable with the third bed being a sofa bed. The bathroom was clean and fresh. Both "bedrooms" had a TV. The kitchien had fridge, small cooker, and microwave along with all cups, plates and cutlery. A bottle opener was not supplied so make sure you take one. Breakfast was nice, which could be eaten outside on the terrace,with hot food being scrambled eggs, bacon and mushrooms. There was cold fayre of cheese, meats, eggs, fruit, yoghurt etc. The swimming pool was larger than expected and great for cooling off in. Again the area was very clean. Loungers were placed round the pool terrace. The pool is in shade by 5pm but that is not a problem. I found all the staff very helpful and English is spoken. Overall for a city based hotel, with swimming pool I would say that it is a good place for a party of 3 or more to stay if you are all intending to use one room. I could not find fault with the hotel. |

Bed was bery confortable and both living room and bedroom were big and cozy. Walking distance from metro stations and small supermarket are nearby.Very clean. |

Location good, the suite spacious, comfortable, 2 metro-stations close by, so was the supermarket, 2 excellent TV-sets, beds large, airconditioning excellent, we'll be back some day! |

The spaciousness of the suite, proximity to the city centre and restaurants, the friendlienes and professionalism of the staff I arranged a transfer from the airport directly with the hotel although the transfer was on time and comfortable I feel the cost of 60 euro each way was rather excessive given that airport transfers in Madeira for a similar distance was only 20 euro each way this could be something to improve |

we loved the one bedroom apartment which was very spacious for us 3 adults traveling together. The rooms are well designed and had all the amenities and convenience of a home. the kitchenette would have been perfect if it had a coffee maker!!! there is no porter service and none of the staff will bother helping you with your luggage but since there was an elevator anyway and our luggages had wheels i suppose it wasn't a problem. |

staff were at all times very helpful, polite and responsive. the TV was poorly tuned and this was done immediately after I called reception. Breakfast was very good with wide range of fresh ingredients and good coffee and staff in the dining room were attentive and kind. the swimming pool was out of action due to repairs and this created noise. It is a quiet, non touristic neighbour hood and one needs to walk for 10-15 minutes to find good restaurants, however the walk was not unpleasant and there are several in the area |
