Clube Albufeira  

We enjoyed staying at Clube Albufeira. The rooms were clean and tidy. All rooms had air conditioning. We had a balcony with a great view. Having a washing machine was excellent with a small family. The kitchen was fully equiped and easy to prepare meal in. We had a car so getting to the shops and beach was very easy. Although they have a bus twice a day, a car is easier for transport to shops and beach. Sometimes we would go to the beach in the morning then back out again for dinner or shopings in the evening. It is only10 minutes by car to these facilities. We would stay there again. Great choice

Swimming pools warmed up by the high voltage pillar all over the place !!

1. Was forced to pay full price on the first day without getting a proper invoice !! 2. Sofa bed and one chair were broken: I reported it at 17h00 and had to fight with recetion staff till 22h00 to have the bed repaired to be able to sleep !! 3. Somebody picked-up the broken chair three days later but did not repaire or replace it !! 4. Cleaning was foreseen 6/week but for any reason..had it only 2 times the first week !!

I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the apartment. We had a two bed superior and it was very spacious with great fittings and two patio areas opening directly onto landscaped gardens that were perfect for the kids to run around and play etc. Although the complex is hilly it is still a great family spot. The 4 pool areas were all great, great to have such a variety. The kids were in heaven. I was also really impressed with the value in the on site mini market. A lot of the prices were comparable to the large supermarkets in the new town.

Not much we didn't like! We were in block Q and unfortunately didn't get the afternoon sun on our patio. We only had problems with noise on our last night coming from the adjoining room but as the apartments do not have any phones we were unable to contact reception to complain.

I booked this purely on price as I needed to be in Abufeira for a week whilst buying property, it was better than expected as I paid for only very basic accommodation but it was well furnished, and well equipped, there is a bus from just outside that runs into town and also to the beach(it is about 1 mile into the Old Town but if you want The Strip or New Town it is a taxi ride) , there is also a McDonalds within a short distance that has wifi. Although I went out of season and the complex was nearly empty there were several gardeners there every day pruning and cleaning the roads and gardens. During our stay we had maid service each day with clean towels etc, I would stay here again.

Could not really fault this accommodation as it served my purpose very well.

Beautifully landscaped grounds and well designed pool areas. Very well kept property.

The staff at one of the on-site restaurants were very preoccupied with a program on the television and the table service was slow and poor.

Its position in central algarve making it an ideal base for touring plus a relaxing location should you wish for a day of rest.

Apartment described as "Superior" was looking very tired inside and out and was in need of a make over.

Very nice, private accomodation, well kept. Lovely pools. Extremely hilly so be prepared. Suits families. We were upgraded to a superior room free of charge which had a washing machine and tumble dryer.

They do not pick you up from the apartment to go to reception when you are leaving and it is a very long walk with suitcases and children. Taxis will only pick up from reception.

Staff were friendly and the location of the apartments was good it was not in the centre of the hustle bustle but just a taxi ride away from that. Pool areas were lovely and all restaurant foods were nice.

I would have liked the towels to be changed daily not 2 times in the week. I would say to ask for an apartment close to the reception there is some very steep hills to walk as the complex is huge.

I liked that they gave us a better appartment than the one we booked. Everything was perfect.

This was a fantastic resort...rooms were spacious and bright. A great place to relax and have fun with the family.

The apartements were great very clean and has all mod cons in them eg oven , hob , fridge, freezer, toaster microwave ect,as we were on a budget we were able to eat in a few evening.

I would nt call it a hotel and its location it was about a good 5 minute drive from the beach. it would be ideal if you wanted a very quiet holiday but still be driving distant from everything.

O Clube tem imensas áreas ajardinadas e completamente cuidadas. Os apartamentos têm boas áreas e estão bem apetrechados a nível de electrodomésticos e mobiliário (tudo muito recente). O facto de haver limpeza diária é, também, uma mais valia.
