Area information
The Clube Praia Mar is located only a 500 meters from Avenida Tomás Cabreira (avenue), where you can enjoy the famous Praia da Rocha (beach) and the newly built Marina da Praia da Rocha. Here, you will find several kinds of shops, restaurants and bars.
The hotel is situated just 2 km from the city of Portimão, now with its newly built river area, already famous for its typical restaurants with sardines.
About 3 km, you will find the typical fishing village of Alvor. By the Ria de Alvor there are several esplanades where you can enjoy the sunset.
About 15 km from Portimão you will find the historic city of Silves and about 24 km you will find Serra de Monchique (mountain) and the Estância Termal das Caldas de Monchique (thermal resort).
Travel information
By Car:
From Faro Airport:
- Exit the airport onot the A22 highway.
- Follow the signs to Portimão.
- Exit towards Portimão.
- Once you arrive in Portimão, follow the signs to Praia da Rocha.
From Lisbon Airport:
- Follow the directions to Ponte Vasco da Gama (bridge).
- After you cross the bridge, follow the signs to the Algarve on the A2 Highway.
- Once in the Algarve, exit at the Messines toll.
- Follow the signs to Portimão on the A22.
- Exit to Lagoa (N 124-1).
- Follow the signs to Portimão (N 125).
- Once you arrive in Portimão, follow the signs to Praia da Rocha.
Important information
Please note that the heated interior swimming pool and all the services available in the Health Club are not included in the apartments rate.
