This is just one of the best hotels I've stayed at - small yet very cosy and modern! Fantastic ocean view from the room! We stayed there in November, but I've enjoyed taking a swim in the morning and in the evening even if the water was cold. Very good breakfast. There's no bar or restaurant at the hotel, so you have to bring your own food. There's a very small local shop uphill, though, if you don't mind to climb for a wine bottle :) You might find it difficult to locate the hotel on the maps, but the staff will help you. |

Views are awesome, I loved to lay on the bed and just watch the atlantic ocean. The proximity of levadas was good, too. Breakfast was nice and the pool! There wasn't any restaurants nearby, so we had to cook our own food. It's good if you're a budget traveller. But there was only a very small shop nearby so be prepared with food stuff before you go. The hotel was quite small, so you had to socialize with other people. The breakfast was served in a one big table where everyone sat. I'm not so sociable in the mornings and that was the hard part of it. |

Beautiful, peaceful location situated right on the edge of a levada for great walks.Fantastic views over sea with great sunsets. Good breakfasts. Swimming pool not heated. Due to steep access would advise hiring a car with reasonable engine power. When hotel is full, the car access and parking are difficult and also outside seating facilities are limited. No restaurants within walking distance. |

I liked the fact that it's so close to two "levada" walks and the fact that it has a pool, though small. The fact that the pool was not always heated that much, the surrounding gardens need to be taken care of...some flowers are clearly dry. Photos on site are misleading in this case. |

I lived 11 years in Madeira and I never thought that could be such a gorgeous place. Accomodation was equivalent to 5 stars hotel. Ideal place to relax and disconnect from a big city. |

Very nice hotel, far away from tourist areas. You feel in the mountains and nature from the first moment. Hard to access (extremely steep route), but more than worth it. |

Simpatia do pessoal e a excelente localização.

Mulighed for gode vandreture i naturen lige uden for hotellet. Forbedringer i køkkenudstyr kunne ønskes. |

Hotel Casa da Capelinha is situated in a rural environment on the northern coast of Madeira Island, about 50 minutes drive from the airport. |
Situated in the centre of the small village Porto Moniz, the Hotel Euro Moniz is just 100 meters from Madeira's natural rock pools. Rejuvenate at the sauna or solarium, and with a massage. |
Thanks to its location in the heart of the Madeira mountains and its beautiful natural surroundings, this hotel is the perfect location for a relaxed stay. |
Overlooking the northeast coast of Madeira Island, stands the Hotel Moniz Sol, set in a beautiful scenery where the ever green mountains contrast with the blue navy of the Atlantic Ocean. |
