Location of the hotel is excellent. Hotel is in the center of the city and it's in the quite route, because at night the center of Albufeira is very noisy.Hotel is near the beach. Staff is helpful. Room was clean and comfortble. Breakfasts were good, but coffee unfortunately wasn't tasty.

We loved the location of the hotel - beach in 5 min, town center in 2 min reachable. Also, the staff was very friendly, were always there to help us if we had questions. All in all, we had a very pleasant stay. The town and the beach was very nice The hotel looks older and could be renovated but we didn't complain as we found it was okay for the money we paid. Also, the breakfast left much to be desired. Instead of fresh coffee they have mashine drinks that were not good. The selection of the breakfast buffet was very poor. We always found something to eat but those who really look forward to breakfast may find it disappointing.

Hotel located n centre of Albufeira. 300m to the beach, close to restaurants, bus stop etc. A pretty spacious room with fridge. Staff speaking english. intrnet in reception. Good choice for not long stay out of high season. Air conditioning could be on for whole year. Walls are too thin - there are many tourists from UK who act up loudly, worse than gorillas.

Very reasonably priced. Friendly and efficient staff. Bedroom a decent size. Good breakfast. Very close (one minute!) to main square/plaza and the restaurants. Beach three minutes away. Very accessible by car - close to approach roads (and A22) from others towns including Faro airport. Free public parking beside hotel. Pleasant though rough-looking pub next door. Free internet in Lobby. A number of English language channels on TV in bedroom. Pharmacy, Tourist Office and Church nearby. No proper Lounge area - Lobby tiny while Bar and TV room are basement rooms and not very pleasant. Small area around roof pool for sun-bathing. A slight musty smell in bedrooms - dispelled easily by opening window.

Excellent value for money, nothing spectacular but for the money it was fantastic. Very clean, breakfasts good and included fruit, yoghurt, nescafe cappucino machine, teas, toast, eggs, local produce, fresh bread, continental style, croissants, etc. Plenty of choice. Rooms were large and modest but very clean and sheets etc were changed daily. Aubrey was a character and very friendly. Would definitely go back. Hotel situated close to centre of the old town, very quaint but busy near the square if you want busy. Not far from beach either. Hotel situated just up from a restaurant called O'Velero which did a great tourist menu for 9.5 euros which was 4 courses and included coffee and half a bottle of wine per person! Also lovely rooftop pool.

This was our second stay at this Hotel. The hotel is in a great location, just a few minutes walk to the beach and to the square in the old town. Veleiro a great resturant is close by with wonderful food at very good price. Collina do Mar is not a luxury hotel, but our room was very clean and comfortable, plenty hot water and towels. There was also a fridge in the room which was handy. Roof top pool and solarium.Staff were very friendly and helpful especially the lady on reception. Breakfeast was good with plenty variety. Price for our 4 nights stay was also good. Pillows are lumpy

The location though on a steep hill was excellent close to the beach and in the centre of the old town close to the main square and the restaurants and bars. The room was cleaned daily tho the towels were only changed every other day.the breakfast was very basic just cereals and toast and coffee.,we ate out never used the breakfast room after day 1.the rooftop pool is not cleaned and always has leaves and insects floating in it,apparently it is not worth cleaning as it gets bad again within a few hours(we did ask why it was so dirty)

Airconditioned room, parking on the site. Excellent location within few mins walking to old town where all bars are. Bathroom very basic, appeared not really clean, requested double bed, but got twin beds. Since 7am hotel was very noisy, seemed like cleaner lady was moving all possible furniture since that early! No wifi whatsoever

the area was very cheap and the hotel was located in the old town very close to the clubs, shops and the beach. they had a bar but the owner said its never opened and it never was during our stay. the maids never changed our sheets during our stay either and the room was tiny for three people. i dont know how they got 3 stars more like 1 star at most.

It is very clean, the room and hotel were cleaned everyday, it is only 2 minutes walk from the bars & restaurants in the area, the bus terminus is not much further. You can even get closer to the sun as the pool is on the roof.

The location just above the centre of old town gave easy access to all and the beaches were also right there,if you had access to a car all the surrounding areas were also at your fingure tips.as well the hotel was pleasant with all the basic ammenanties(frigge, coffee making facilities in room, but you had to bring your own coffee, and a generous breakfast For those that styed there they don't like the hill but its not that long, but if I say it is a place I really want to take my girlfiend back to(not just the hotel)I really don't have too many complaints

Never stay on the first floor. It's like a cave. Everyday you'll see pedestrians' knees in the window. It's never possible to keep curtains open. Very wet.

It is in the heart of the city, about 5 minutes walk from the see. It has a nice terrace on the 4th floor with a pool. The recepcionists are good at English and they are very kind. There was a strong odour in the room, it was because of the old furniture. We were on the first floor which is unfortunately is in level of the street, so we can not open the window for night, and we should always take care of the curtain to be closed if we want something private (eg. Dress up). I do not recommend to stay more than one night because of that strong odour.

Excellent location near the town centre, it is literally less than a minutes walk to the shops/restaurants and bars, also only a few minutes walk to the lovely beach. The roof top swimming pool is a great idea, but the hotel did not have a bar open for light refreshments wich was a shame. Overall, a very enjoyable stay No staffed bar, no food available, situated on a hill, and as I have a chronic back problem it was sometimes painful to reach the hotel. Also the balcony was less than a foot in width, could just about stand in it, very dissapointing
