Hotel Colombo  

The price/quality ratio was excellent. Very good value for money. The room was large and the beds were comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful.

The hotel is a bit out of proportion in the small island of Santa Maria. Probably the biggest building on the island. The achitecture does not go well with the otherwise very traditional surrounding. Makes one wonder why such an investment was made in the first place on an island, where the number of visitors is limited most of the time. The location a little bit outside the town of Vila do Porto makes it necessary to rent a car in order to get around. Renting a car is a good idea anyway regardless of where you stay on the island.

The Staff is unprepared and unfriendly. The don´t have wireless sistem and no Internet in the room. The only acess to the Internet is paid! Very poor Breakfast. Very poor maintenance of the Facilities The presence lights and commum lights of the Hotel were swichted off and it´s an adventure to get to the hotel at night time. There were electrical sockets damaged in the room. Hotel staff tried to collect a phone call I suposselly made from my room (I have a cell phone!!!). Not to come back ever again

The design, the apartments are big, with everything you need. With very complete breakfast buffet.

Hotel staff was very friendly,very clean place and very serene location

Het hotel bevindt zich aan de rand van de stad. De keuken is matig waardoor men genoodzaakt wordt in de stad te eten; een aardige wandeling alvorens men aan tafel kan. Als men wil slapen met open (balkon)deur dan word je opgegeten door de muggen.

A relação qualidade/preço. A dimensão dos quartos e a vista para o mar através de uma grande Janela com varanda.

Para um quarto triplo, penso que a 3ª cama deveria ser igual às demais, pois não é uma cama extra... O que não se veio a verificar, tendo por isso achado a cama demasiado curta, não dormindo tão bem. O aspecto "menos bom" é a variedade do pequeno-almoço... Para um hotel de 4 estrelas. Horário do Ginásio não nos permite muito à vontade.

Het gebouw ziet er van buiten niet uit (charme van een Russische fabriekshal), maar is van binnen prima, hoewel wat steriel. Kamer was prima, mooi uitzicht over stad en zee vanaf balkon compenseert alle gebrek aan charme. Restaurant was okee. Kortom: we zouden een volgende keer weer hiervoor kiezen. Iets beters is er ook niet op Santa Maria. Waarmee ik niets ten nadele van het eiland wil zeggen.

Foram encontradas teias de aranha no tecto do quarto e aranhiço no lavatório do wc. O pequeno almoço (medíocre) não serve produtos locais de qualidade (biscoitos, mel e meloa).

El restaurante del hotel sirve un dsayuno y unas cenas horribles. No coman en el hotel.

Dommage qu il n y a pas d accès wifi gratuit

Gostei da amabilidade dos funcionários.

Está muito longe da praia e muito afastado do centro de Vila do Porto, sem transporte própio, fica dificil as deslocações para a Vila.
