CS São Rafael Atlantic Hotel  

This is a very nice and beautiful hotel, situated on a quiet location, perfect for relaxation and near a lovely private beach. We had a very pleasant stay and would definetely come back. The beds are very comfortable, the shower is amazing and the location is beautiful and very quiet. Staff was quite helpful as well.

The beds are single beds put together, instead of a double bed. Also, service on breakfast was a bit slow, not as would be expected from a five star hotel. They took a while to clean the tables and there was a queue outside after 9:30, even tho there were available seats.

Excellent service. Good location - can walk into Albufuera and some good local restaurants. Private beach is great - especially in quiet season.

The hotel has its own private beach so very close to the sea. The breakfast is the best I have ever had. The staff were excellent.....very helpful and attentive. I would most definitely go back again and would recommend this hotel to my family and friends.

You need to have your own car if you stay at this hotel as it is quite far from Albufeira town. Well, you cannot walk to the main town. And the hotel does not have a shuttle bus during the winter months.

Beautiful setting and views of coast. Nature walks . Beaches . Seafood in beachbars. Contemporary design. Friendly staff. Great breakfast and setting

The design and decor of the hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful I also like the spa area. The room was very nice too. Breakfast was very good.

I was unhappy about the reduced facilities on offer mainly restaurant areas. This was not explained when I booked only one small restaurant in the evening and there was no table for us as we had not booked. We ate out in town every night of our stay because of this. It was very quiet and no entertainment at all. I would like to stay again but would not go this time of year again because of the above.

Very relaxing atmosphere

The spa and gym facilities were only open from 10:00am to 6:30 pm.

This was a great hotel; we loved the design, the friendly service, and it was a pleasure to have dinner in the restaurant

The closest city Albufeira is not a nice place to go to, totally spoiled by English style tourism (all-day loud football noise in the streets! Etc...)

Based upon my profound experience CS Sao Rafael Atlantic Hotel seems to be best & most you can expect from the top notch 5 stars hotel & spa located at one of the most beautiful beach in Portugal.

The beach was beautiful and the breakfast was nice, albeit stopped at 10. We had to pay for room service our first day (even though our room rate came with free breakfast) b/c we weren't ready to eat until 10:15 and it was already closed.

The restaurant on the beach was not good, and the staff throughout the hotel could be nicer. The accommodations are nice now, but I don't the quality of the materials used are going to last long. I think it is priced too high for the quality of the hotel and it's staff.

The hotel was stunning from the point of arrival on.The staff were very welcoming and helpful at all times. The views from our balcony were beautiful and the outdoor pools merged really well with their surroundings. I must say the fact that we had to wear caps in the pool seemed a bit extreme but the pool atmosphere made up for it. The beach was lovely if rather a climb on the way back but oh so worth it.

There was nothing we could complain about as we thoroughly enjoyed our stay but we were disappointed that the beach restaurant was not open and so too the piano bar. We assumed that this was due to our stay being early in the year but we would have liked a little gentle entertainment in the evening.

Beautiful design hotel with very friendly staff. Great breakfast buffet! The pool and spa was also very nice! Enjoyed it every day! Beautiful gardens and beach! Absolutly a wonderful place to stay.
