A beautiful place in the wilds of the Douro valley. Gorgeous public rooms and gardens, large and comfortable hotel rooms. A good central location for exploring the Douro, with train and boat trips available right outside the hotel. The lighting in the hotel rooms is awful -- a huge room with three low-wattage lamps to light it. Reading in the room at night was impossible. Also, lack of signage to the hotel. We spent 20 minutes riding around the tiny town of Pinhao trying to find it. |

Location. Ambience. Truly romantic! Friendly staff, yet poorly trained. In such a charming hotel, the guests should feel cared for and literally spoiled, which unfortunately was not the case in this weekend (maybe there was a shortage of staff… I don’t know. Nevertheless, I suggest investing in staff training) |

da situação, do sossego e também porque considero o hotel aconchegado e confortável. a iluminação do quarto ( suite junior) não permite a leitura de um jornal e muito menos de um livro, o que a meu ver é um acto de lazer para quem está três noites no hotel. |

Da vista, da comida muito boa mesmo o restaurante vale mesmo a pena de notar a coisa que é exagerada na refeição é 3.30 euros por uma garrafa de agua de 1 litro A televisão tem poucos canais e a não existencia de mini bar. Os funcionarios não ser capaz de falar o historial da vintage house. |

自分の部屋の窓から見る世界遺産の風景は感動的で、このうえない贅沢だった。サービス・施設とも文句のつけ- ようが無い素晴らしさ。ホテルスタッフは素朴で親切でよく気がつくうえ、皆たいへん感じがよくて、これほど- のホテルにありがちな、慇懃無礼な応対は全く無い。駅からは歩いてもほんの数分だが、道路がでこぼこでスー- ツケースを転がすのはたいへんだった。プラットホームの端からホテルに直接入れる階段があるので、予めホテ- ルに連絡して駅まで迎えに来てもらうと良い。ピニャオンに行くなら、ぜひこのホテルに泊まって欲しい。価格- もこの内容なら全く高くない。 |

Adorámos a localização sobre o Douro, o ambiente romântico. O quarto era amplo, com varanda que dava directamente para o jardim e piscina. Cama grande e confortável. O pequeno-almoço era excelente (frutos tropicais, queijos regionais variados) e quando tomado na esplanada inesquecível. Apesar de não ser barato, pelo excelente serviço, tem uma boa relação qualidade-preço e será merecedor dum regresso no futuro. Ideal para casais pelo ambiente romântico. |

Gentilezza del personale, confort delle camere, luogo piacevole in bella posizione sul Douro, bella vista. Buone infrastrutture, bella piscina. Il ristorante dal tono pretenzioso ha una cucina dispendiona, ma assolutamente non all'altezza, molto deludente. |

Muito calmo, jardins bem tratados, a paisagem fabulosa. O nível dos funcionários tem que ser melhorado. Simpatia é muito importante, mas é preciso também profissionalismo e à vontade no que se está a fazer. Para este nível de hotel, o cliente tem que se sentir mimado e não um incómodo. E o bar só deve fechar quando os últimos clientes não desejarem mais nada... |

Localização excelente, funcionários muito atenciosos. Possibilidade de tomar as refeições ao "ar livre" em local privilegiado no jardim. Restaurante não muda ementa desde há vários anos, muito caro para a qualidade oferecida sobretudo se tivermos em linha de conta a existência de excelentes restaurantes na zona com uma relação qualidade/preço muito mais razoável. Piscina com equipamentos pouco cuidados. |
