Atmospheric location Limited menu and where else to eat. Difficult to find from the address with a sat nav. From the address you could be forgiven to think this hotel was in Arcos (1 hour away).

Very nice and recently restored hotel at a fantastic spot in the mountains of north Portugal. The only disadvantage is that the hotel is located a one hours drive away from the town of Arcos de Valdevez, and therefore not easy to find. Follow signs to Santuário da Peneda. There are no other restaurants and the local supermarket opens irregularly.

El entorno en que está situado es fantástico, igual que las vistas. Muy tranquilo. Buena calefacción. La cama regular.Los complementos del baño son escasos. El desayuno bastante flojo. El hotel por dentro es bastante feo, incluida la recepción. Es una pena que cobren por el entorno, que al fin y al cabo peretenece a la naturaleza. El precio no merece lo que ofrece, salvo la ubicación.

O correr de água que constantemente se faz sentir e que passa mesmo por baixo do hotel é espectacular. Adoramos ouvir a água correr,especialmente ao adormecer. Nada de grave, mas em dias de chuva, como nós apanhamos, não havia espaço para fumadores a não ser à chuva...

O que mais gostei foi o facto de termos internet sem fios gratuita, especialmente numa localidade em que as redes de telefones móveis simplesmente não funcionam. Sala de estar muito agradável com alguns jogos familiares (cartas, dominós, etc). Funcionários muito atenciosos e prontos a ajudar.

le cadre est enchanteur en plein parc naturel de Geres , tout a cote de notre dame de Peneda , un peu loin , et isole il n y avait pas de reseau mobile dans cette zone

Relação qualidade - preço do jantar. Harmonia da casa de banho. Ter de dormir de janela fechada, numa noite muito quente, como proteccao contra os sinos, que badalam à hora, no Santuário contíguo. A esplanada do hotel não tem graça (mobiliário de plastico!) O Largo e a esplanada são demasiado graníticos - poderiam ter mais "verde". Tornam-se agrestes em dias quentes. O cheiro dos sanitários públicos no Largo.

Gostei muito do atendimento, simpatia, paisagem, tranquilidade, relação qualidade-preço. O restaurante também é muito bom, apenas fecha cedo. É dificil o acesso, aconselho a levar GPS, e rede de telemóvel simplesmente não há.

Excelente hotel situado en la montaña a 30 kms. de la carretera ganeral, en un entorno precioso. Lujosa habitación y estupenda recepcionista. Vistas idílicas. La recepción en la planta primera (debería estar en la planta baja), con la incomodidad de subir las escaleras con las maletas. Bar cerrado. No coge canales de tv. española. No hablan español. Santuario anexo abandonado.
