The staff were always friendly, welcoming and very helpful. The breakfast food was nice and plentiful. The hotel was very clean and decor modern and brightly furnished. The pool was clean. The hotel overlooks the beach which is beautiful and always very clean. The location was perfect.

The self-catering facilities were very poor. Although a fridge was provided, it was filled with bottles and items for purchase. There was cooking facilities but only one saucepan which we used for boiling water for tea/coffee. It would have been nice to have some cooking and eating utensils provided.

The room was very nice and spacy, very clean, and had everything we could need for our stay, including a small kitchen area. Our view was fantastic!! Hotel staff was nice and polite, although not outstanding. The design of the room was very modern.

Breakfast was really poor, not a lot to choose from. The scrambled eggs were terrible, it seemed they were full of baking flour. Parking was expensive inside the hotel. At this time of year, it's not that hard to park outside, but if you''re coming during the summer, get ready to pay this expensive parking or go crazy looking for a place to park your car everyday! Also, if you are coming during the summer, take notice that the streets are usually full and are noisy. Ask for a room as high as possible to avoid the noise.

Very friendly staff, great location, good breakfast (well eggs were allways too cold..), very nice stay in all.

We stayed in a room at the front of the hotel that looks over the beach directly it was fab. The rooms were big and spacious and the hotel itself was very modern. The staff were very friendly and couldnt do enough to help you. Finally the hotel is only two mins tops walk from the beach and is close to all the pubs, restaurants and shops. Would definately stay here again if visiting Praia da Rocha

Could not sleep - no sound proofing and very noisy outside. Bloody awful.

The location is perfect , few steps to the beach , shops and many restaurants , hotel really modern , very clean , staff really nice and helpful, definitely gonna come back. breakfast was nice many choices , showers are absolutely lovely!

Well Situated hotel. Steps from the beach with great view from terrace. Hotel personnel were very accomodating.

Hard Beds

We enjoyed stayng at Rocha Hotel Apartamento.It has the best location(in front of the beach and near shops and restaurants). We liked the hotel,the room and the breakfast.Near our hotel was hotel Jupiter where in the evening between 9 and 12 was singing a band (this thing we liked most).It was portugese music,not disco and the atmosphere was very romantic.The beach is very big,just sand and the ocean is magnific.The water was a little cold but not unpleasant.We had a room with ocean view at 5th floor and we liked it even it was on the corner of the hotel and it was smaller than others.The furniture and everything in the room was new and confortable.In the loby of the hotel were 2 computers with internet access.We recommend the hotel for honeymoon,family with children or just a perfect holiday.

We didn't like we had to pay at the arrival.The lady from the reception wanted to pay before to see the room but we insisted to pay after seeing it and after that everything was ok but from my point of view it's not a good policy the lack of trust.The other thing that bothered us at the begining of our stay was the program of the cleanliness.The lady was coming at 4,5,6 p.m to make the room and one day cleaned our bathroom with a lot of chlorine and we had to leave the room because of the smell.But after we said at the reception we want the room to be cleaned in the morning they respected the program and the problem was solved.We liked the hotel and the stuff and we will return at the same hotel.

We had a lovely time staying at the rocha hotel we stayed in the side sea view i have to say it was worth the bit extra,breakfast was lovely no complaints and the room was cleaned each day so overall really nice accommodation and very comfortable.

The only thing i would have to say if you are a mature couple and intend on have an early night the side sea view may not be for you as the music from the jupiter hotel can be heard until 12am.
