Hotel do Canal  

The breakfast buffet in the restaurant, while not lavish, was very adequately maintained and had a very good selection. The host/hostess was pleasant, friendly and attentive. The bathroom was modern, clean and well stocked with soaps, shampoo and toweling.

The bed was very hard, tightly made and uncomfortable! The older tube television had no significant volume adjustment and was barely audible when attempting to watch English speaking stations. The advertised bowl of fruit was really a partial plate with very unripe and thus inedible fruit. The walls were not sound proof! I could hear telephone conversations while in bed during the evening at the wall adjacent to the bed headboard. My reason for choosing this hotel was to obtain quiet rest.

It was nice to have a spa/gym area included in the price. The location is quite good, for example the ferries to other islands leave just in front of the hotel.

Breakfast was ok but not great - a bit dull.

A localização mesmo junto à marina e o conforto do hotel. Muito bom pequeno almoço.

Apreciei sobretudo a variedade dos serviços disponibilizados, bem como o conforto e a comodidade apresentados não só pelas características físicas do hotel mas também pela simpatia e o excelente serviço prestado pelos seus funcionários. O facto do hotel exibir permanentemente um pacote romântico julgo que constitui uma mais-valia para o mesmo e principalmente para os seus visitantes, quer sejam redidentes ou não na ilha. Por isso, felicito esta iniciativa.

Sa situation géographique, près du port et de la ville. La vue sur le Pico, les arbres devant l'entrée et son architecture qui respecte assez bien le style de la ville. Le petit-déjeuner varié et très bon.

Internet payant alors que la grande majorité des cafés de la ville vous propose free internet!!! C'est peut-être ce qui nous a le plus déçus. Le personnel n'est pas très avenant, juste aimable alors que les Açoriens sont de manière générale extrêmement gentils.

A localização é ideal, precisamente no centro da Horta, mesmo em frente aos barcos para o Pico e para S. Jorge. Está a 50m do Peter's e é difícil ficar-se num quarto sem uma vista fantástica para o Pico! Tem um pequeno-almoço bastante bom e os quartos são muito confortáveis. Nem é muito caro para a qualidade que tem.

A situação em que se encontra, junto ao porto da cidade da Horta e ao cais de embarque para o Pico, e a simpatia e eficiência do pessoal, bem como a decoração de motivos marítimos.
