From Morning till night, the Lounge Bar is the meeting point for guests. In the comfort of the lounge or on the terrace with the magnificent view of the ocean, feel on holiday whilst enjoying a drink at sunset, during the happy hours and entertainment evenings in the Hotel Bar.

The view of the beach and the quality of the service is constant in the Hotel Dom José. Overlooking the pool and with the sea in front, the Hotel Restaurant presents national and international cooking, buffet style, varied to suit all tastes.

During the summer months, the barbecue lunch is an invitation to lunch outdoors (alfresco) on the terrace.

The Hotel Dom José is on the beach front at the popular resort of Quarteira, in the centre of the Algarve, only 20 minutes fron Faro International Airport, 5 minutes from Vilamoura and 50 minutes from Ayamonte / Spain.

In the Algarve, as well having the best beaches in Europe there is much more. Discover the interior and the hillside, the centuries of history of the different races, the rich evenings of animation and culture, festivals, fairs and many other attractions.

Staff were brilliant and was very convenient that they spoke great
english. The location of the hotel was breathtaking, a beautiful clean
beach seconds away from the hotel. The swimming pool area was beautiful
and very clean too. All in all a brilliant experiance and im glad I have
had this opportunity to express my delight at staying at your hotel. I
will definately be returning next year

V.good position on beach. Spacious comfortable room.

It would be helpful if there was a member of staff to help/advise on places to shop/eat etc. Difficult to get bearings on surroundings.

In need of modernisation, location great but rooms very poor. We actually changed hotels due to the claustrophobic nature of the room.

It would have been nice to have the snack menu available throughout the day as you do not always want a big meal. But it is not meant as a criticism, just a point that could be looked at.

The happy Hour

There was a lack of entertainment. If you are looking for a very
quiet, relaxing holiday this hotel would be ideal. Not for the young
and lively.
