Friendly knowledgeable staff. Excellent bar and snack service. Clean well appointed rooms. Just across the road from the beach. Fabulous choice at the breakfast buffet.

I really cannot think of anything I didn't like about this hotel.

The Dom Jose offers what it promises for a 3 Stars Hotel, rooms are big & clean, staff are friendly, breakfast is reasonable and with good access to all the surrounding attractions, not to mention it is just 10 meters from the Quarteira Beach. I booked a Superior Twin Room with a Side Sea View and it was HUGE, very bright & clean

Although I had a Superior Room, it didn't have a Minibar which is a big drawback even for a 3 Star hotel. The Dom Jose does not offer Room Service No Free In-Room WiFi Balcony was not clean, yet to be fair the rest of the room was impeccably cleaned through.

Location

The room was poor, no sea view at all. Matresses in poor condition, needing new ones. The tv set in the room in bad shape. Need to be replaced. The outside bar is nice overlooking the sea. Service there was poor and the barman tried to cheat with the change.

The staff were friendly and very helpful. Rooms and bathrooms were clean and cleaned daily

it is situated on the beach front with great views and lovely brand new updated sea view rooms and a very relaxing atmosphere, will be back again for sure

in the restaurant it has a breakfast feel about it which is fine for breakfast but in the evening the clean Formica tables could do with a nice table cloth to finish off the luxury look and the food could be top up a bit more quickly

Poor access to the hotel from street level as the wheelchair ramps where to steep also ramps to pool area where also to steep(NOT acceptable for disabled guests) food could be better, kitchen staff appeared to be under pressure. You only get what you paid for only 3* ?

Price of phone call to uk was overpriced . ONE THING THOUGH THAT IS NOT GOOD IS THE LOUNGE AREA PIPED MUSIC JUST LEFT ON

It was very clean and the location opposite the beach is excellent.

Hot breakfast was very poor and we had to wait every morning for the the food to be replenished. Lack of selection. One day sausages which tasted horid, the next day bacon. There should be more selection of hot food.

Cooked food at breakfast was mediocre. But there was plenty of fresh fruit, cereal, yoghurt and bread also.
