Excellent breakfast. Nice, clean and comfortable rooms. Free WIFI. Very nice staff and extremely helpful. Special thanks to Anna Jorga, excellent guide and very dedicated to guests, very good tips for good value restaurants (we have been 4 times to Marisqua Santa Marta, exquisite grilles squid). Thanks also to Carlos who helped us a lot with directions (driving here is quite a sport with the roundabouts!). The same with Dom Carlos Liberty where we also spent 2 nights. H. Ngo, Montreal, Canada Nothing. Everything is perfect.

It was a good choice because of the strategic position of the hotel. Direct connection by bus from/to the airport; located in the city center with Metro and buses to every destination (2 min walking distance from the hotel); also very easy to exit Lisbona by car from there (several car rental in the area if needed). Breakfast could be improved..

The hotel is well situated, very close to Marques de Pombal metro station at the top of the Avenida. It is simple and discreet, with clean, comfortable bedrooms, adequate bathrooms and a pleasant lounge. The staff are reasonably helpful. The breakfast is good. We have stayed there twice at weekends, each time at promotional internet booking rates which gave us excellent value for money.

Hotel is quiet, despite being right in the center of Lisbon. Has a car park, which is excellent because parking is hard to find in the area. Breakfast is very good as well, even though they have more options during peak season.

The location was very convenient. Close to the metro station but somehow in a quiet square. The staff was very kind and they gave us good adviced about where to have dinner in the neighbourhood. The familiar room was clean, a bit small though.

Friendly staff. There is a park opposite of the Hotel and I should have been warned not open the windows. I was bitten by small bugs and had red spots all over my body.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and all spoke good English. I was checked into the room efficiently by the receptionest who had a lovely manner. I enjoyed the breakfast, as there was a mix of continental breakfast or a fry if you wish. Although I have to say the fry did not look appetising to me. There was a selection of different teas which suited me and also some lovely Portugese pasteries. It is approx 20 mins walk into the main square from the hotel and opposite the hotel is a lovely park. Its easy to get to this hotel from the airport, I got the aerbus from literally just outside the airport (cost Euro 3.50) and it only took about 15/20 mins on the bus. There is another Dom Carolos hotel quite near, so just be careful when checking out the directions that it is the Dom Carolos Park. The room carpet was clean (room 702) but the carpet could do with updating.

Location was good, near the main street but not on it. Metro station was close by. Shopping center was within walking distance. Breakfast was good and it was available for a long time every day. A room for 3 had actually two rooms which was nice. The bed was a bit hard and the windows too thin, almost felt like they were open as noise could be heard from outside. Luckily there was a small park in front of the house so not much traffic noise could be heard. Breakfast could include some vegetables too, otherwise it was very good.
