Although apparently numerous, the following minor shortcomings did not really affect our stay.
There was an internal door in our room communicating with the room nearby. Although the door was of course locked, this made noise from both sides much more perceptible and, in general, created a little sense of discomfort. Nothing really concerning, though.
Sometimes the number of tables and seats in the breakfast area was insufficient. A short wait was however usually enough to solve the problem.
It sometimes happened that for several minutes we could only get cold water in the room in the morning. Maybe this was due to the very long pipes from the boiler to the tap, but still it was a bit uncomfortable.
The Wi-Fi connection was sometimes unstable, jerky, or slow.
The hotel is placed in a central, yet quiet position. Several bus lines and a metro stop at the close by roundabout of Praça Marquês de Pombal, from which even relatively far away destinations can be reached. If you are willing to walk a bit, it is even possible to reach the most central areas of the city (Restauradores, Praça do Comércio, etc.) on your own.
The hotel staff was very kind, extremely available and professional, and always ready to provide us with useful information.
The room (203) was big enough and comfortable.
Also the breakfast was well assorted: there were at least 3 kinds of pastries (and they tasted good), croissants, jams, different kinds of bread, ham, cheese, butter, fruit juices, milk, coffee, tea, mixed fruits and several other kinds of food.
The car rental service offered by the hotel was extremely efficient.
