No vegetables at the breakfast
No negatives during my stay.
Nice, tidy, with a great location. WiFi, cable TV, a clean and large enough bathroom, comfortable beds. Big and bright rooms.
Wifi still failing several times, sometimes can go till 30 seconds, maybe a configuration problem. Don't know why they never clear the TV stand.
The price was good for the hotel location, is right in Marques de Pombal, from there you can go anywhere.
The bedroom was so small that I had to walk sideways to even get around the bed. And although the heat was appreciated there was no way to turn it down or off I was told. So, windows were opened which I needed to call for help to do.
The room was very clean and the bathroom was immaculate with very hot water for the shower. The breakfast was excellent, as well. I like exercise and so enjoyed the 15 minute walk to the old town every day. it was direct and a very nice walk.
One of the ladies at the congierge was a bit unpleasant. The coffee is terrible. We had the " romantic" package which was to include a bottle of champagne. Well, it was a mini bottle of Portuguese sparkling wine of very low quality and very old, basically undrinkable.
Good location, nice staff, good breakfast. Next door there's a nice little coffe shop where one can have a good cup of coffee.
Room fittings little tired , but still quiet comfortable and had everything we needeed.
Very helpful staff on reception. 2 mins from Metro, 5 min walk from Airport bus stop. Quiet comfortable rooms in a great location for a good value stay.
Good ... but we've had already better for less money ... Even in Lisbon. After reading the comments of others we think you should ask for a room at the street side.
Location, staff was helpful and friendly, breakfast was good.
Almost lost my flight because someone forgot my wake up call
So far so good
uninteresting breakfast, to few seats to eat,
Good staff, good wi-fi, good location
Great location. A 2-minute walk from bus stop to/from the airport. A leisurely 15-minute downhill walk to central tourist areas. Spacious and comfortable bedroom, bathroom ok. Very nice breakfast. Would stay here again.
1. No any vegetables on breakfast. 2. The same meal every day.
Not many toiletries, no facial tissues
Location, breakfast, maintenance ,cleanliness, instant hot water and water pressure even though I was on top floor, great towels
The staff at the breakfast loung. A smile would help
In general terms all. Staff at reception excellent
Good location, nice breakfast
Although apparently numerous, the following minor shortcomings did not really affect our stay. There was an internal door in our room communicating with the room nearby. Although the door was of course locked, this made noise from both sides much more perceptible and, in general, created a little sense of discomfort. Nothing really concerning, though. Sometimes the number of tables and seats in the breakfast area was insufficient. A short wait was however usually enough to solve the problem. It sometimes happened that for several minutes we could only get cold water in the room in the morning. Maybe this was due to the very long pipes from the boiler to the tap, but still it was a bit uncomfortable. The Wi-Fi connection was sometimes unstable, jerky, or slow.
The hotel is placed in a central, yet quiet position. Several bus lines and a metro stop at the close by roundabout of Praça Marquês de Pombal, from which even relatively far away destinations can be reached. If you are willing to walk a bit, it is even possible to reach the most central areas of the city (Restauradores, Praça do Comércio, etc.) on your own. The hotel staff was very kind, extremely available and professional, and always ready to provide us with useful information. The room (203) was big enough and comfortable. Also the breakfast was well assorted: there were at least 3 kinds of pastries (and they tasted good), croissants, jams, different kinds of bread, ham, cheese, butter, fruit juices, milk, coffee, tea, mixed fruits and several other kinds of food. The car rental service offered by the hotel was extremely efficient.
Some rooms have a rather grim view of walls and windows
We like the very convenient location, near the metro but in a fairly quiet street, and the good breakfast in a comfortable lounge. This is a simple unpretentious hotel offering good basic facilities at a reasonable price.
wifi was rather slow in the room and sometimes it took a while to connect.
Location is convenient: about 20 mins walk away from the downtown along the beautiful street. There is a metro station right next to the hotel and a nice park. ATM, post-office, supermarket and some restaurants are within several minutes walk. The room was spacious, the property is clean and well-maintened, the breakfast was tasty, the staff was helpful and friendly.
outdated facility difficult to find hotel location by car fire station nearby
central location to the Metro station
Great location, very clean, comfortable, good wi fi, good breakfast and helpful staff. Overall a simple, hassle free and clean hotel
room when we arrived smelt of tobacco
generally very good value for money. brazilian guy at the front was very helpful and pleasant.
Very small room (even not a table) which gives onto a rear courtyard relatively noisy The hotel need a refreshment
The road layout near the hotel is quite complex and therefore it's difficult to navigate to the hotel if you're driving and haven't been to Lisbon before. It's worth making the effort though as the location is great.
Location, near to public transport. Breakfast (but coffee was poor). Very helpful staff.
