The decor. The staff. The facilities.
Lack of wifi
The hotel was lovely and staff friendly and helpful
Location was good but a bit far away for the main part of town where the restaurants and bars are - the taxis are cheap though so not a bother
Cleanliness, room size, good beds and pillows, location, friendly staff at counter and porters,.
Supervisor or someone directing the counter and staff, very proud, no greeting and unfriendly long face, in contrast with the counter attendants and porters. Sometimes the example must come from superiors...
Large and nice room (707). Large and comfortable bathroom. Good location for public transport. Proximity of the big shopping centre "Amoreiras" is of great advantage -especially the large supermarket "Jumbo". Good breakfast (no vegetables).
The rooms which booking.com offers are overpriced. One can book exactly the same room for much less with other hotel suppliers.
This hotel is in a good location for shoppers. It is not particularly close, but is walking distance to some of the major tourist areas. I would call this a (very) good business hotel, not a luxury hotel.
There are no coffee/tea making facilities; there is a fee for accessing the pool; and high fees for using the wifi in your room. I knew this prior to booking, but would still expect more given the price of rooms and the way this hotel markets itself.
Restaurant Gattopardo was unfortunately closed for holidays.
Well placed and excellent facilities check in good we only had 2nights before flying back to London We only had breakfasts which were excellent. And we liked the chocolates in the evening a nice touch.
It was quite long walk to the centre but took buses and taxis for the evening.
perfect in all aspects
Restaurant -- pretentious, overpriced
Location (shopping center across the street was very convenient), friendly staff, cleanliness, wonderful breakfast (one of the best ever), rooms were comfortable and quiet. We would go back anytime.
Instead of a queen bed, we had two single beds joined together.
Lovely breakfast, Wonderful/helpfull staff, Nice spa treatment, Double door between room entrance and bedroom - no corridor noice could be heard,
Dated decor, Too far from town, Awful cheap bathroom products, Low standard VIP lounge and drinks not replenished frequently, Children making lots of noice in the spa swimming pool - not at all relaxing after a spa treatment, Small bath robes - they fitted very few of the guests. Poor Wifi connection - even on VIP floor. Very flat pillows. Wool blankets on beds instead of duvets.
Poor wifi in room
great hotel, very charming atmosphere, spacious rooms, great breakfast
The staff were extremely brilliant in their approach.
Te breakfast was a let down.
Reception not always answers the phone. I was ringing for help to carry luggage downstairs (travelling with disabled parents). I thought perhaps they were too busy with people departing all at once, so I struggled on my own to get luggage inside small lift and downstairs. Arriving on reception there was no one there.
Staff is very helpfull.
Kind of cookies are a little poor, when I compare with another five star hotel.
The hotel was in a great location. A shopping centre & bus stop into town just across the road. The staff were friendly & the restaurant on the third floor was fantastic. Well worth upgrading to a Tower room as you get free access to the spa & lounge, which has panoramic views over the city
No free Wi Fi but there is access to two computers in the lobby that are free of charge to use
I really appreciated how the team celebrated my birthday ! Best birthday ever!
The staff was great. While off the beaten path so to speak it is adjacent to a huge shopping facility and cabs are very affordable when traveling to different parts of the city. I would stay again without question
Prices a tad steep regarding food and beverages. So I purchased my own or went elsewhere. But on that note it is a 5 star and I except that
The hotel is in a good location - just across the road from a big shopping centre. The rooms were spacious and clean. It had all the things you would expect in terms of a luxury hotel. The hotel staff were friendly and obliging.
It was disappointing that there were no coffee/tea making facilities in the room.
Great hotel, with gret views! Nice location, clean!
The hotel is maybe 4 + stars, not 5 real stars. We were there during the new year celebration 2014. Unfortunately the hotel personal and management didn't do anything to make us feel that the new year is coming. Neither a small surprise like a small bottle of champagne, etc. They behaved like they work in a standard day...
good location, comfortable, friendly and helpful staff and good value for money
Good breakfast, good facilities, nice clean rooms
We stayed on the 5th flour and there was a hotel condition system right under our windows on the 2nd-3rd flour level, which made a lot of noise during the night hours.
