The standard sea view room was a good size and the en-suite had a bath + shower over. The hotel is in a great location with the large marina and beach just a short stroll away. I would have liked tea making facilities in the room and I was surprised that there was a charge for the safe in a hotel of this standard. |

Central location, attractive price-excellent value, close to restaurants in the Marina, quiet location, room and breakfast very satisfactory. Most helpful reception and bar staff. Not really. Perhaps for long term stays, night entertainment (bridge or some indoor "sport") should be considered. Sadly, very little attention was ever given to the piano player. |

Like the fact that it was quiet and that the breakfast was included in the room price which was very reasonable. It did exactly what it said on the tin, but the rooms were not four star standard. Beds are old, boxy and springy. However the hotle is nice and in a nice setting. No complaints for the price we paid! |

Very close to marina vilamoura, very good relation of quality to price outside high season (November) I would prefer to have the possibility of borrowing the iron (or have iron in room) instead of paying for ironing each piece of my clothes (but I guess it may be common in 4 star hotel) |

it had a lovely relaxing atmosphere, good location and excellent staff, they were very helpful and pleasent to talk to. I think I would go again. spa pool wasn't working properly, and even though the hotel was quiet we weren't given the option to have a room with a nicer view |

I liked the convenience of the hotel with regards to the beach and the marina and the bus services. The hotel was spotless and the staff were always courteous and helpful. The breakfast buffet was also excellent. |

Grear location, close to Beach, Marina, Restaurants, Public Transport etc. Good choice for Breakfast. Staff pleasent and efficient. Asked for bulbs to be replaced in Bedroom and this was immediately. Very nice Bar area. I would rate this hotel as 3 Star. Bathroom in need of updating, but everything was in working order. Dining Room a bit crowded in the morning, a bit of a wait for table if not down early. |

To have access to an iron and ironing board preferably in the room or elsewhere. The lack of variety for breakfast. |

The location is very convenient to Marina, beach and the rest of Vilamoura. We can also use the facilities from the Dom Pedro Golf which is more child friendly. There are only a few rooms without balcony and mine is one of them which is not very convenient because we had no place to hang our swimming suits and towels. I can only assume that because I booked the hotel through the booking.com. |

The one night we stayed at the Hotel we found the location excellent for both the marina at night and the beach. There was free internet and parking. Our room was large with a good view of the pool and sea. Breakfast was good , plenty of choice. |

Its our 2nd visit. Its just a nice Hotel at a reaonable price, the family rooms are especially good value In the family room 304, you could actually open the windows fully, no child locks !! Which for a family room was a bit dangerous. Fortunately we were all adults and non were feeling suicidal ! We did forgot to mention it on leaving. |

Facing Vilamoura’s marina, just a stone’s throw from the resort’s famous beach and casino, this hotel impresses with its first-class facilities and friendly staff. |
Centrally situated in one of the Algarves most popular resorts, the Vila Galé Ampalius is only few metres from the Atlantic Ocean and a short walk from Vilamouras marina. |
Set in Porches, a small town in the municipality of Lagoa in the Algarve, this luxurious resort provides the idyllic setting for a relaxing break, with spectacular panoramic sea views. |
The hotel stands overlooking Praia da Falésia in the charming town of Olhos de Água, close to Albufeira in the Algarve. |
