Score from 577 reviews Good
Providing ultra modern rooms with total-white designer furnishings, Gat Rossio is centrally on a quiet street behind Restauradores Square and metro stop.
Score from 2066 reviews Very good
I got a room in the part that was not renovated
Being central close to the sea
A lot of noise from outside from the on the spot musicians. trash from the old guests left in the room. windows are old and wind comes in so during night is not really plesant
Good cost performance to compare with the idial location. Thank you!
The street is sometimes noisy because of the situation as like this.
the location is good, but not unique, could have found another hotel with better sound isolation especailly at the center.
No noise isolation, you can hear the guy in the next room taking a shower, noise of people walking in front of your room, noise coming from the street ... We had to wait 45 minutes after check in time for our room, the guy at the reception told us that if we don't want to wait , he can only give us the only free "bad" room and that I should not come back to him to claim back the room that I didn't want to wait for, but during these 45 min, 6 people came after us and checked in 3 rooms!!! he was very impolite when I asked him about that.
excellent location, very near to metro and places of interest., staff were nice..
Bathroom is so small , no lock on our bathroom door.
The Staff were warm & friendly. Andre, Tanya& Rubén went out of their way to make our stay that much more special! Location location location - Amazing!
The bathroom was way too small.
Staff very friendly, great location
The lift, and the WiFi setting
I loved the location, the staff were nice and it was surprisingly peaceful considering the busy street outside.
The room was a little small and breakfast could provide a bigger selection. I don't eat gluten so my choice was fruit and yoghurt.
Location & staff reasonably pleasant, though not very smiling.
Bedroom small, furnishing reassembled 1 star max rating. Pillows lumpy and old, bathroom just adequate tho shower fine. Stairway very dirty & pornographic photos on lift gave feel more of brothel than a place in which you might feel on holiday. Sadly, can only recommend to stay here if no other option!
Location is optimal Confortable bed Heating worked well and was needed The door to the "balcony"
Very small room and small bathroom.
Building needs urgent referbishment
Great price for the excellent location.
Rooma facing the street are very noise; poor sound insulation
Very small, poor room. The breakfast and personal during the brekfast was terrible.
LOCATION AND HELPFUL CONSIERGE
BREAKFAST, BETTER SKIP IT. SOME OF THE EVENING THE SOUNDS OF THE MUSIC FROM STREET PLAYERS IS TOO MUCH. BUT IT IS QUITE AFTER MIDNIGHT
Staff. They wanted to move me to another room at their conditions. Weren't prepared to send someone tp assist with my baggage, very unfriendly. WiFi not as they stated, not functional in the room given.
Very good location, clean room, good choice of food at breakfast, helpful staff on reception. This was our second time in the hotel.
Lift doors on upper floors didn't always close fully leaving lift inoperable.
The staff went out of their way to assist. They tried to help, but could not do repairs.
Three nights spent there, and they changed our room each day. We travel a huge amount, and have never had such poor maintenance anywhere. 1. No plugs for the bath or wash basin in all rooms. 2. Phone not working in one room. 3. Broken soap holder. 4. Leak from ceiling in one bathroom, had to put a bucket underneath. 5. One bath was peeling (paint coming off) 6.Globe in bedside light was very yellow. Other was white and bright as it should be. 7. No hair dryer in one room. Many more things not repaired. Would not stay again.
The only good thing about this hotel is the location. Staff at front desk are friendly and help solve some of the many problems.
The hotel has a renovated part and a very old part. The photos included in booking are only from the renovated part but the book all the rooms with no separation from where the reservation comes in. You end up in the old part which is cheaper, but not from booking! Rooms are noisy, TV didn't work at all, breakfast is very poor (coffee machines were broken), slow (expensive) internet.
Breakfast room lovely with normal continental selection
The room we booked was not available and we were given a tiny room in the roof not fit for my dog and the receptionist lady was very rude and had a could'nt care less attitude so when I went to complain she had left so the night porter changed our room to a better one but it still had air conn fans and extractors running all night
small rooms in old part of the hotel, small and poor breakfast, rooms needs to be refreshed
Everything else . Very noisy outside during the night , bin lorries coming and going ,street cleaning machines , deliveries, because there are no vehicles allowed in the day . Lots of beggers and low life singing . The inside was no better . Very small room child size wardrobe with portable TV on top . Difficult to reach to switch on and off , no hair dryer no kettle no fridge. The bathroom was impossible and dangerouse everything was so close together .you could sit on the toilet and clean your teeth over the sink at the same time running along the side of both them was the bath ,enclosed with 2 sliding doors which housed the shower so you had to clime over the toilet to get in the shower . I was very cocerned for my husband at 74 because he is not very good on his legs . I have booked lots oh hotels through Booking .com and never had a problem ,this was like faulty towers.
everything broken. the door handle of bathroom was just bit stick or hanging looks like a almost fall. And floor had a carpet also stink and lots of dirty spots. In the bathroom before the people used tooth paste and tooth brush were keeping. Breakfast was very poor and nobody take care food and every time no cups plate and no cheese. And I never seen ham at breakfast.
Price is Right, location is good if not a bit noisy but the positives don't outweigh the negatives. The place is not clean enough, the sheets are to small for the beds, wi fi costs, safe keys cost, breakfast is just passable. In all honesty stay at a higher priced place in the centro or pay a similar amount just outside and walk or use the metro. Lisbon add a place to visit is fantastic though and staying in the centro is not essential.
Good location, standard breakfast
Hotel and rooms worn and tired (with things like greasy spots and shower leakage), wifi comes at extra costs, very noisy even on top floors with lots of noise coming from central streets outside till 2 a.m.
