Breakfast room lovely with normal continental selection
The room we booked was not available and we were given a tiny room in the roof not fit for my dog and the receptionist lady was very rude and had a could'nt care less attitude so when I went to complain she had left so the night porter changed our room to a better one but it still had air conn fans and extractors running all night
small rooms in old part of the hotel, small and poor breakfast, rooms needs to be refreshed
Everything else . Very noisy outside during the night , bin lorries coming and going ,street cleaning machines , deliveries, because there are no vehicles allowed in the day . Lots of beggers and low life singing . The inside was no better . Very small room child size wardrobe with portable TV on top . Difficult to reach to switch on and off , no hair dryer no kettle no fridge. The bathroom was impossible and dangerouse everything was so close together .you could sit on the toilet and clean your teeth over the sink at the same time running along the side of both them was the bath ,enclosed with 2 sliding doors which housed the shower so you had to clime over the toilet to get in the shower . I was very cocerned for my husband at 74 because he is not very good on his legs . I have booked lots oh hotels through Booking .com and never had a problem ,this was like faulty towers.
everything broken. the door handle of bathroom was just bit stick or hanging looks like a almost fall. And floor had a carpet also stink and lots of dirty spots. In the bathroom before the people used tooth paste and tooth brush were keeping. Breakfast was very poor and nobody take care food and every time no cups plate and no cheese. And I never seen ham at breakfast.
Price is Right, location is good if not a bit noisy but the positives don't outweigh the negatives. The place is not clean enough, the sheets are to small for the beds, wi fi costs, safe keys cost, breakfast is just passable. In all honesty stay at a higher priced place in the centro or pay a similar amount just outside and walk or use the metro. Lisbon add a place to visit is fantastic though and staying in the centro is not essential.
Good location, standard breakfast
Hotel and rooms worn and tired (with things like greasy spots and shower leakage), wifi comes at extra costs, very noisy even on top floors with lots of noise coming from central streets outside till 2 a.m.
- the best localisation: in the heart of Baixa/Chiado district, on the commercial and tourist Augusta Avenue, - very close to main metro stations, - in proximity with the tram number 28 tour, - elegant, comfortable rooms - azujejos in the oldschool bathroom made the atmosphere
Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Breakfast choice of food was skimpy they could have added some hard boiled eggs and maybe a bit of cooked ham to improve it.
No wifi Room stayed unclean for two days
The location couldn't be better, in the commercial part of the city.
Noisy corridors, the staff didn't help at all, the room I booked looked completely different in the photos, the hotel itself needs to be refurbished, tiny rooms with tiny toilets (my boyfriend couldn't pee standing on his feet....), had to pay to get the wifi code (when all the restaurants in the street have wifi for free). I paid too much for what I got.
that res. confirmation said air condition, private balcony, flat screen TV none of which the room had. the reaction of staff that these things are never guaranteed absolutely no customer service attitude from staff
The front desk was very helpful
The staff was not polite
Great location Staff very helpful, went out of the way to fix problem for you
Great location also comes with some unwanted noise late at night
Terrific location and cheap
Looks pretty old
It was so annoying that they don't have free wifi. You can't find a hotdog stand in Portugal that does not offer free Wifi, but this hotel can't deliver that service.
Location is the only thing positive about this hotel. Location is ok, and great if you prefer shopping but a bit far from activities, nice restaurants, the river and more interesting and charming parts of Lisbon.
Everything is bad except location and the rooms are not the ones shown in pictures online. When booked a double room 30 square meter with balcony, flat screen tv etc we were put in an old, dirty 8 square meter single room with barely a window and a bad smell. At least 4 other guests complained at the same time as me at the reception. Please don't support this hotel by staying here, the pictures lie and you can find a lot better places for the price!
I loved the location and stuff. It was a really pleasant stay. I had a quite old room but with nice terrace and a view.
Breakfast is really poor and I slept in an old room with old windows so it was really loud from outside. I would like to have a fan or airconditioning as well.
The breakfast was rich, we liked it.
The room was really too small and after some days we felt as being without air; moreover the window could not be closed completely. The cleaning was not perfect. The staff at the desk seemed incompetent and unpleasant. Finally, the wifi connection and access was not freely available but really costly.
Location is good due to access to city.
Had booked a room on the front with a balcony. Went up to our room, opened the window to see it was faxina the back of someones kitchen and a brick Wall. We went to tell the receptionist, who merely shrugged, signed and told us to try another. The second room was a bit better, but still not nice! Would not stay here again! Dirty in lift with naked photos stuck on! Avoid!
Location Easy access to Public transport
Old And noisy rooms, the reception is not helpfull The rooms were not clean enough The Breakfast were poor. The room did not have air conditioning
The place where the hotel is located is amazing! It's confortable, and not too expensive! It was good.
It's a little old, and the elevator is broke sometimes, the staff wasn't too nice, but everything else was
Its location is perfect, and the staff is very cordial.
There was neither fridge and nor air conditioner in the room.
ants in the room, holes in the wall, paint out the windows, small room, bathroom dirty and very small, breakfast bad, no air conditioning,
