Very poor breakfast, not even enough plates, bowls or cutlery after 9am
On leaving we had a very friendly efficient receptionist that could not believe what her younger colleges charged us given we booked for two nights at 70euro and third night we were charged 120euro by young arrogant receptionist team because we wanted to extend. Highly recommend our receptionist on leaving very efficient. But overall very poor experience.
Wouldn't recommend this for more than a nights stay If u plan on sleeping. There was a lot of noise inside the hotel. Someone scrapping a chair across the floor all night. Found a little blood on the duevet which was a bit gross. Wifi isn't free. The lift is pretty scary too. We stayed on 4th floor and if someone hit button on 1 the lift kept bouncing up To 4 then down to 1 back up then back down. Rooms weren't same as shown in pic. No flat screen TV.
Location is great! Rooms are clean a bit dated but expected for an old building. No free wifi but plenty of cafes nearby with free wifi. Lots of places to eat near by
Very good reception services, friendly staff
My room on 5th floor was owfull
That being said, the room walls are paper thin. I could hear my neighbors talking and watch a sports game, loudly enough it sounded like they were in the room with me. The hair dryer also doesn't work and when I told reception they said they were out but would bring me one soon. The hair dryer never came.
The location is great, and staff was accommodatin.
The room was a little bit claustrophobic, but clean
The location was excellent, very central and close to historic sites.
receptionist gave me unready room twice, I have to check the room by myself. Lots of noise from street in the night. Receptionists are good. But housekeepers are not nice. Even if they can't speak English, but they never say ola or smile to us. Even more, they never make ways for us. In the contrary, we need to make ways for them
Very old, if you are ok to live in the old grandma house than is OK. The receptionists are a bunch of teenagers that cannot do the job at pro-level! On arrival even I had booked a room with internet I had been forbidden just to check my emails while I'm waiting till 14h to go to my room. Internet is paid!!!! Oh come on! We are 2015!
Best location ever!
I got a room in the part that was not renovated
Bad reviews of this place :)
You get what you pay for, its an average good hotel... Some rooms are small but ok if you are only two persons, see the city and sleep in the bed. We travelled with our 4 months old son and got a small room. I asked kindly the two girls in the reception and they found three bigger rooms we could choose from. Breakfast was ok to fill your stomach, We ate it three days without getting tired of it, it have all the basics to fill you up, its not a continental breakfast but again,You get what you pay for... The location is awesome by the way
A lot of noise from outside from the on the spot musicians. trash from the old guests left in the room. windows are old and wind comes in so during night is not really plesant
Being central close to the sea
The street is sometimes noisy because of the situation as like this.
Good cost performance to compare with the idial location. Thank you!
No noise isolation, you can hear the guy in the next room taking a shower, noise of people walking in front of your room, noise coming from the street ... We had to wait 45 minutes after check in time for our room, the guy at the reception told us that if we don't want to wait , he can only give us the only free "bad" room and that I should not come back to him to claim back the room that I didn't want to wait for, but during these 45 min, 6 people came after us and checked in 3 rooms!!! he was very impolite when I asked him about that.
the location is good, but not unique, could have found another hotel with better sound isolation especailly at the center.
Bathroom is so small , no lock on our bathroom door.
excellent location, very near to metro and places of interest., staff were nice..
The bathroom was way too small.
The Staff were warm & friendly. Andre, Tanya& Rubén went out of their way to make our stay that much more special! Location location location - Amazing!
The lift, and the WiFi setting
Staff very friendly, great location
The room was a little small and breakfast could provide a bigger selection. I don't eat gluten so my choice was fruit and yoghurt.
I loved the location, the staff were nice and it was surprisingly peaceful considering the busy street outside.
Bedroom small, furnishing reassembled 1 star max rating. Pillows lumpy and old, bathroom just adequate tho shower fine. Stairway very dirty & pornographic photos on lift gave feel more of brothel than a place in which you might feel on holiday. Sadly, can only recommend to stay here if no other option!
Location & staff reasonably pleasant, though not very smiling.
Very small room and small bathroom.
Location is optimal Confortable bed Heating worked well and was needed The door to the "balcony"
Building needs urgent referbishment
Rooma facing the street are very noise; poor sound insulation
Great price for the excellent location.
Very small, poor room. The breakfast and personal during the brekfast was terrible.
BREAKFAST, BETTER SKIP IT. SOME OF THE EVENING THE SOUNDS OF THE MUSIC FROM STREET PLAYERS IS TOO MUCH. BUT IT IS QUITE AFTER MIDNIGHT
LOCATION AND HELPFUL CONSIERGE
