great central location and very reasonable

Great location, good breakfast.

The location is pretty much perfect on the heart of Lisbon: Rua Augusta. For the value payed it was ok.

The breakfast is limited, not a single protein resource. The bathroom needs to be renewed and the water flow wasn't enough.

1) The roommate was double charged! Once during booking and once at check out! 2) breakfast facility is too small and crowded for so many guests. I would highly recommend to reposition the breakfast serving place in the 1st floor restaurant.

Bathroom and room furniture very old

Great location. The reception staff was just great! Always ready to help, give an advice, or arrange a trip. We were on trip to Fatima and three other places. People at the hotel are very kind and friendly. The room was a little bit outdated, but charming, clean, and we had a nice view to the main street.

There was lack of glass, plates and cups almost every morning at the breakfast.

The most amazing location right out of the metro station and bang in the heart of city. Everything is so easily accessible. Hotel Staff is very friendly & cooperative. All in all a great choice for budget travellors

The hotel is a great value for money, still the bathrooms are smaller that one would expect. Also breakfast menu is same on all days.

Good location and very small price. I would not hesitate to go again because the price is perfect for small budgets like mein. Then be careful, you get what you pay for !

Plugs in the bedroom were not working so good. We had to ask to put our telephone in charge at the reception desk.

I have booked based on the photos diplayed online once reaching I have been directed to a veryyyyyy dirty unsuitable room which has nothing to do with the online photos; apprently hotel is in a renovation phase planned on several waves some room are already renovated other not yet while they are in operations, by going to the reception one more time the staff had a very rude attitude telling that 's the only available room in the hotel while by telling her that I will leave I won't stay in such dirt she gave me a key of another room while she lied and told me that it is double room with no space for an extra bed (which i requested in my booking) and by checking the room it was if i can say a human room to stay at with an extra bed. breakfast is very poor, staff is not nice !!!!

Surrounding streets being dug up. Street entertainers outside hotel every afternoon and early evening. Breakfast was poor and poorly managed.

I don't think there was anything I would really complain about.

The staff was really friendly. Room very clean. Common bathroom, but nothing to complain about it. The average age of the hotel guests was over 40, and that might have also helped with the cleaness. Right in the city center! But not noisy at night!

Reception is not friendly enough

The location. But there are many many much better places, at better prices, in the exact same neighbourhood.

This was a total disappointment. I booked for a week for a business stay and left after the first night. They charged 110 e per night, internet excluded!! The photos on the website made it look ok - so I thought it was a 2-star hotel on its way to a 3-star. On arrival, staff was impolite and lobby was non-existent. The room was a terrible surprise. It was extremely small with no room to move about, and the furniture was extremely poor, old and rickety. The wardrobe was actually a hole in the wall with a couple of hangers stuck in, and its entrance was blocked by a night-table! Bathroom was tiny and dodgy, had to jump over toilet to get into shower. Old paint, holes in walls. Very old, looked like a dilapidated boarding room. Lots of noise from the street all day. The breakfast room was inconvenient and looked like a youth hostel with people queuing for trays and food. Felt like oliver twist. I actually asked the people I saw on the corridors about their rooms and got angry and disappointed remarks from everyone. I discovered half the hotel is old and dilapidated and half has been renovated (website photos are from the new part!!). No difference in the prices between the two!!! I made a fuss at the reception on checkout. The girl phoned the owners 4 times and they refused to give me any discount for misrepresenting their services! They asked me if I wanted to go to another of their hotels and I refused and left. Definitely do not go there, as for the same prices you can get 3 or 4 star quality in the same area. Awful staff who know exactly how much they are conning the clients. The old part of the hotel should be shut down and the new one should charge less anyway.

Superb location!! Considering the very good price, this was better than expected. Clean, nice room and bath. Hot water in the shower.

No air-condition or private balcony. It was no big deal, because it was not very hot and most of the time we were out of the room.

location is excellent, close to metro, buses and most shops. very easy to get top Bario Alto.. where I wouldn't like to try to sleep. breakfast is simple but not bad. a lot of cafes nearby for a snack.

The hotel situated in the center in one of old houses. From the window really great view - castle and river , besides just 100 meters to metrostation. One more thing - very small rooms. On the 4 th floor very nice balcons.

Locted in the center of Lisboa, near to historical centre, to bus, metro, railway stations. Personnel very kind & ready to provide valid and reliable logistics informations. To find local and "tascas" rely on specialized guides (Lonely Planet, in particular), it's the better way!

The offer talked about air conditioned but we had only a fan....sleep with open windows so we listened at all the sounds of a town in the early morning: poetic but ... awful! Breakfast: very basic, only slices of cheese toast and croissants frozen. Decent American coffee, espresso horrible. Beware of Elevator: often stops. The key / card frequently loses his memory.

Internet was not free, drug dealers outside the hotel in the evening/at night, loud outside most of the night (but that's the city :) and we had our window open!)

The best of it is the location cause it is in the main city centre as well as cost of stay.

Something that can be improved in near future are bathrooms because in our room the doors of bath tub and shower was broken. Therefore, bigger place/room for breakfast is also one of proposal.

Some of the morning receptionists were a bit moody and not very helpful! But the evening ones were great!!
