The location is great, easy to reach a number of Levadas and very easy to get out in the nature. The village is sweet and intresting as an example of a very small and typical village. The younger hotel staff was nice and friendly and very eager to help, however not so experienced. The room was exactly what we needed and well cleaned. The hotel is not so "friendly" you do not feel like you are supposed to be in the garden, we never understood how to get access to the swimingpool, payment in advance was demanded, food in the restaurant was OK but the restaurants in the village were much better. There is so much unused potential in this hotel it could develop from good to more than great with just a few actions in the right areas.

Freundliches und familäres Hotel. Klein aber fein. Frühstück absolut ausreichend immer frisches Obst, verschiedene Brotsorten, Wurst, Käse, Marmelade, Kuchen oder Kekse und Joghurt. Warmes Essen am Abend: Für uns leckere Gerichte aus der heimischen Küche. Sehr abwechslungsreich und schmackhaft. Internetzugang über W-Lan in der Lobby und Bar. Kaminfeuer auch tagsüber. Angestellte und Inhaberin zuvorkommend und immer sehr freundlich. Zimmer sauber und landestypisch eingerichtet. Sehr schöne Außenanlage Es war leider noch zu kalt um im Aussenpool zu schwimmen.

La localisation idéale pour découvrir l'est de l'ile ainsi que sa proximité de l’aéroport, son parking, la qualité de la réalisation et ses jardins. Son restaurant très correct et son acceuil très professionnel.

Nous avons apprécié l'accès rapide depuis l'aéroport, et la possibilité d'un bon repas en arrivant le soir. Les chambres sont très propres, l'environnement est agréable et silencieux. Pour visiter et faire des randonnées dans la parti nord-est de Madère, l'Estalagem a Quinta est très bien située. Un détail: attention aux moustiques si vous ouvrez la fenêtre !

L'accueil à été parfait... La responsable a été trés arrangeante en ce qui concerne le petit déjeuner car nous devions repartir avant l'heure d'ouverture du restaurant. La chambre été trés confortable et avec un grand lit et non 2 lit accolés donc beaucoup plus romantique pour un voyage de noces! Trés propre. Pas bruyant. Jardin magnifique. On a trés bien mangé au restaurant de l'hôtel et la responsable du restaurant à été trés gentille également. Notre seul regret...ne pas y être resté plus longtemps!! Idéal à 2. Rajouter un petit chauffage d'appoint pour la salle de bain car le matin selon la saison il y fait un peu frais au réveil pour la douche.

Rustig gelegen hotel, vooral 's avonds. Zeer geschikt als laatste hotel voor de terugreis want slechts een 20-tal minuten van de luchthaven. Traditionele keuken uit Madeira in het restaurant: je houdt er van: ok! Maar weinig alternatieven voor andersgezinden. Tweepersoonsbedden van 140 cm. Een aanpassing na de vorige hotels waar meestal bedden 200 cm meetten.

Nous avons été très bien accueillis par la patronne de l'hôtel qui parlait très bien français. Cela ressemblait plus à une pension de famille qu'à un hôtel. C'était très sympathique de discuter avec elle. Nous avons bien diné avec des spécialités de l'ile de Madère. C'était très copieux. La chambre sentait le renfermé. Il faut dire que nous sommes arrivés un soir de pluie et de brouillard, et nous sommes repartis le lendemain toujours dans le brouillard, mais dans cette région c'est très fréquent. Nous avons mis le chauffage, car même à la fin du mois de mai il faisait froid. Nous avons demandé un panier repas pour le midi, et il y avait du pain, mais pas beaucoup de jambon ni de fromage. Contrairement au repas du soir ce n'était pas copieux.

Cadre agréable. Accueil un peu froid. La piscine n'était pas ouverte en raison de "travaux de peinture" ce qui n'est pas normal en pleine saison touristique.

El restaurante, y su servicio. Los buenos desayunos. Jardín-Granja con animales, muy agradable. El enclave donde está hace que el tiempo no sea siempre bueno, pero derivado de la propia ubicación. Hay demasíada humedad.

Netjes en gezellig ingericht. Drie keer heerlijk gegeten. Vriendelijk personeel. Rustig gelegen op 20 minuten rijden van vliegveld. 3 dagen mist, motregen en 12 graden gehad. Komt denk ik wel vaker voor hier, zodat andere (lager gelegen) plaats valt te overwegen. Open haard in restaurant en entree hotel waren wel nodig om warm te blijven, evenals verwarming op kamer.
