der Atlantik vor der Tür, abseits vom Großstadtlärm , urige Herberge - nicht zu verwechseln mit einem gediegenen Hotel, für jeden der nicht zu hohe Ansprüche an Unterkunft und Verpflegung stellt , nettes Personal die Swimmingpoolanlage zwar sehr reizvoll, jedoch ungepflegt, schmutziges Wasser - vielleicht war ja noch Nebensaison und dieser Mangel wird noch behoben? |

Completely quirky hotel - big in the 50's/60's but now sadly fading and sinking into the sand. It is a great spot as the nearby beach is beautiful, and it's a good inexpensive way to stay in the area. It's about 5 miles out of Caiscais meaning you have to rely on the bus, or take a long hike. Apart from the hotel itself, meals were expensive in the other nearby places. |

Allowed fire to go out early in the bar although it was a very cold night and staff seemed indifferent. We would have stayed to have a drink Breakfast could be better toaster broken and took forever |

the viewi; interesting decoration of public areas definitely priced too high; the room was large and clean but old and musty; also it is located on a popular surf beach so there are lots of cars and people just outside hotel; i paid 80Euro Single -- way tooooo much; should no more than 50 - 60 |

its cheap... The place is like a ghost town, the 1960's (shining film springs to mind) decor is ghastly and the communal areas are poorly cleaned (mainly windows). the breakfast and food services are basic and limited and the location is miles away from any civilisation. The staff are bordering on unfriendly... |

Wonderful site, very nice building (old but cozy), friendly and helpful staff, great restaurant. Windy weather but that didn't matter to us. Lots of windsurfers. |

The sea views are amazing and the old-fashioned style preserves the character of the building I wish it was more clear that it is 6km from the town with almost no bus service |
