Friendly staff. Easy parking. Spacious and warm room (important since it was rather cold outside). Do not take the half board as you will be placed in the jungle restaurant rather than the more normal one. The shower curtain needed cleaning, the smell in the bathroom was not pleasant. My room had not been made up when I returned in the evening. The room was not as quiet at it should in a place like this (noise from the heating system, the muzac from the reception could be heard through the door. |

Some stunning walks nearby. Jungle restaurant good for comedy/novelty value but quite overpriced. Room was damp, place was very quiet and eerie in September, lots of bugs/insects, felt a bit like something out of a Stephen King book. |

Very good location in a secluded area, clean rooms, friendly personnel. A bit strange to give it four stars however - it would make a good three, but definitely not in the four stars class, the required facilities are missing. There is a restaurant called "Jungle Rain" to avoid at all costs; it smells of mold, it is full of plastic animals, artificial flowers (strange choice in Madeira), uncertain taste designs ... the food is fair at most. Luckily there is a grill place, belonging to the same establishment nearby and that one is just fine. |

The location: it is in the middle of a wonderful natural area. The restaurant is not very good and looks horrible ( a kind of disneyworld place who does not make sensa in such a remote natural place ), the breakfast could be improved. Also customers should eb aware that even if distance from sea is not long roads are very bad so it is not easy to go out for dinner in another place. |

Hotel itself is really worth 4* rating in all aspects. Some events in restaurant on evenings, interesting design, good food. Perfect stay for mountains' climbers and walkers in Madeira. No elevator. Location is almost 1.5km above sea level (in mountains), so we were sitting in the middle of rain cloud (in May). Maybe in summer it is different. |

We stayed four nights. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The interior of the hotel is inventive and provides a comfortable well-feeling. Rooms are calm, clean, and comfortable. We had a nice stay and clearly recommend this place. It is the perfect starting point to explore Paul da Serra and Rabacal. |

The surroundings are just perfect for those who seek some peace and tranquility... the rooms are very nice and clean. The restaurant is amazing! 3 german sport channels were the only available in the room... watching TV wasn't my priority on this vacations, but even so I don't think that is enough. |

Wonderful views and extremely nice, helpful and friendly stuff. The hotel has a nice lobby with a fireplace and Wi-Fi access, which was very useful for us. Location is also very convenient. |

We liked to stay there because of the beautiful views and of the vicinity: great levadas (25 fountains, for instance) and paths. You have to prepare, that it might be cold up there. Staff was great. Free use of internet. |

Miła obsługa, rodzina atmosfera, duze i wygodne pokoje, czysto i schludnie. Hotel połozony jest w pieknej okolicy, w pobliżu levad i ścieżek spacerowych. Wieczorem jest bardzo cicho i spokojnie. Z tarasu można obserwować widowiskowe zachody słońca i rozgwieżdzone niebo nocą. |

Ambiente calmo e familiar. Aposentos e roupas asseados. Melhorar a cozinha.
