-Extremely friendly and helpful staff -We had awesome cleaning lady: helpful, chilled, clean and funny -Additional thanks would like to tell to staff working in the bar during the night: for patience and keeping bar opened for only us while we were working on laptops -Fantastic view from the rooms with the sea view (Were living in the 11th floor) -Very close to the beaches -Delicious goat cheese for breakfast (unfortunately only thing was able to eat there)

-Extremely poor breakfast -Worst coffee in my life -Too many people gathering at the same time in the restaurant -A mess during the breakfast -Had to wait for check in -Rather old hotel (at least had this impression when got to the room)

Location is great, near train station and close to walk way at beach front. Easy access to restaurants and transportation. For a moderate hotel it is still worth the value.

Would not reccomend the hotel if you don't have a sea view, unless it is much lower in price. Lobby is on 3rd floor so better if you have a room on 6th floor or higher.

The facilities, the size and space, the air conditioning, breakfast, porters, evening staff,

On check out the staff member, maybe a manager was a bit rude, just rushing you out of the place, not friendly

We came with the express purpose of having a couple of days of sun this summer; this wasn't a cultural visit, but a sensory one. As such, The Eden was a great location - right next the the train station, to minimize useless travelling time, and right near the beach, with a pool and a sea view. I wanted to LOVE this hotel. And parts of it I did. It's from another era, and has a definite late-70s vibe that I dug. The staff were lovely, the pool was small but serviceable, and as mentioned, the location was good. But it wasn't great.

When it comes down to it, it was not worth the 142e per night we spent. If you get a deal for 100e or less - and you don't want to be in city centre but rather away for a beach break - go for it. I had read the reviews saying it was more 3 star than 4 star and decided to ignore them but wish I had just opted for a cheaper place in the end.

I loved the location, and the ocean view was fantastic. Liked the complementary breakfast (room to improve there but good anyways), loved the pool area, rooms are comfortable, good room service.

If you are driving, GPS is a must!

I was attending a conference at a nearby hotel and the Estoril Eden gave me everything I wanted for the stay at half the price. Room was huge and would have suited a couple or small family. Breakfast and evening meals were good and reasonably priced.

No problems for me. It's a short but steep walk down to the railway station and beach. I didn't use the pool or hotel grounds so can't comment on those. Décor was a bit dated but still in good condition.

Spacious bedroom with kitchenette that includes fridge, microwave, hob and sink; sofa; dining area and excellent view of the bay (sea view rooms definitely worth the extra). Free wi-fi and English TV (BBC1 and ITV1 plus news etc) . A few hundred yards, via underpass, from train station with frequent, excellent, service into Lisbon, taking around 30 - 40 minutes. Attractive promenade, 15 minute walk to Cascais, attractive resort with good shops and restaurants. Very good combination of a relaxing base well placed for sightseeing. Will seriously consider returning.

Sunbathing area around pool not really large enough (but attendants manage to fit everyone in after juggling sunbeds). Very few shops or restaurants in immediate vicinity (15 minute walk to Jumbo supermarket, though there is a small grocery store nearby). Patisserie closes at 8 pm and stops serving meals long before that. Otherwise, two bistros, both under the same ownership (and OK). Quite uphill from the promenade/station, fine for the fit but some would find it taxing. Making guests pay two euros a night for a safe seems a little ungenerous but the wi-Fi is free (unlike lots of other hotels).

The Hotel indeed is wheelchair friendly , but the same cannot be said of the area of Estoril or Cascais.to bring my wife (whom is wheelbound ) down to the beach was extremely dangerous . there is virtually no facilities for wheelchair persons,

The bedroom with kitchenette was very roomy and had a magnificent sea view from balcony. Full breakfast included is a great plus. Location to train, beaches, and sea walk, can't be beat. Indoor and outdoor pool make for good swimming in any kind of weather. Staff was very accommodating.

Carpets and mattresses need updating. I would not recommend the hotel restaurant for dinner. Pool closes at 7 pm. It would be nice if it was open until 8 pm in summer.

Location, in spite of noise (both go hand in hand in the case of this Hotel)

lousy quality of breakfast. We simply decided to have breakfast at a café nearby everyday

Hotel and the staff were lovely. Rooms were spacious and having a kitchenette was great. A seaview room would have been great, although we didn't have one. Breakfast was good. Hotel is starting to date in terms of décor, but all facilities are in good condition. Short walk - 300m- from Mount Estoril train station to the hotel and approx. 500m to the beautiful beaches. Cascaius a short easy walk away. A very pleasant stay. Happily recommend

Bit disappointing that guests cannot take pool towels to the beach. Long distance travellers are unlikely have room for beach towels in their luggage. Budget conscious guests can buy a beach umbrella at a local shop for 7 euro or pay about 22 euro a day for umbrella and chair at the beach clubs
