Reception staff quite rude.Returning from the beach dressed accordingly,having to ask for id's back, reception employee continued a conversation with a colleague, eventhough observed me waiting. A couple of minutes later, employee adressed first another guest(in a suit) that showed up while i was waiting. Judgmental and rude. |

We had a lovely room overlooking the sea and the beach. The room was very comfortable. We only had to walk across the street to the beach. It is right next door to the Casino. The pool is large and the temperature was warm. However, in making the reservation on-line, we were given an incorrect map of how to get to the hotel and ended up spending over two hours looking for it in the wrong town. We had to find a telephone to contact the hotel to get the correct directions. All the staff were very pleasant. The bathroom is unfriendly as the bathtub is very narrow and difficult to navigate according to my wife. They placed the mirror so high you would have to be 6 ft to be able to use it. She felt there was not enough counter space to put her cosmetics, etc. |

Location, excellent view, spacious room. Breakfast was good, but a lot of the food on offer was of a poor quality, not to expect in a 4 star hotel. |

Closeness to the station for easy transport to Lisbon and other coastal destinations. Good steak restaurant adjoining the hotel. Friendly staff. Noise from local bars and traffic from the Casino.Inefficient air conditioning in the rooms. Limited seating area for relaxation within the hotel. |

Amazing sea view from the room. Staff was very kind. Very good breakfast. Hotel is located not far from the beach. We had to stand in a queue for breakfast. It seemed that staff coudn't clean tables in time, because of the shortage of personel. |

The breakfast was excellent: hot and cold options on your choice, fresh fruits and juice every day. 5 minutes walk to the public beach. Excellent connection to Lisbon and other cities. Silent enough in spite of train and bus stations nearby. Very beatiful sea view from the room (please choose 7th or 8th floors). To distribute earplaugs to guests (the disco working during weekend's nights was too loud so we couldn't fall asleep). The hotel also needs some renovation (our washbowl was damaged). |

The hotel staff were excellent offering us lots of information in such a friendly and courteous way. The hotel offered a free wine tasting one evening and also had special offers for both restaurants. We took up one of these offers, which was a free bottle of wine, at the steak restaurant and had an excellent meal provided with top rate service. The location was ideal for us, right on the beach and across the road from the train station where we took the train into the centre of Lisbon. There were lots of shops and restaurants close by, plus a casino (although we didn't go into it.) |

I ordered a grilled chicken a la carte. Chicken was nice but fried potatoes and cooked green beans on the side were not ok.It seems that on Saturday evening they are focused only on the running buffet and put little effort in a la carte dishes. |

fabulous see view and very nice food selection for dinner No internet conection whatsoever. Spa is a joke, sorry, but the smell is really bad and you cannot relax in the massage room while you hear the loud music down the hall, coming from the fitness room. Swimmingpool was nice, but no availability for towels, you had to ask and sign for them!!! |

Excellent service at the reception amd the restaurant. The staff was friendly, hapy to assist and always smiling. Good, comfortable room with fantastic view of the Bay. The street noice. The stink of sewage at the -2 level was unbearable. I had to pass through every time I had to go to the garage. Also, the garage entrance was always obstructed by some private cars, making manoeuvring difficult. Access to the garage should be free but they park their cars enywhere they like. Terrible. |
