Standing tall in a commercial area of Porto’s Boavista district, HF Fénix Porto is 440 yards from Casa da Musica concert hall. It has free Wi-Fi throughout and spacious rooms with cable TV.
Score from 1758 reviews Very good
Axis Porto Hotel is situated beside Porto University campus, 2 miles from the UNESCO World Heritage Centre of Porto. The hotel features a spa center and panoramic city views.
Score from 589 reviews Very good
Partly housed in a modern building and partly in a historic palace with a tile façade, Das Artes is centrally located in Porto. It offers design-conscious accommodations with rotating art exhibitions....
Score from 707 reviews Excellent
It was very good value for money , and easy access to the city and the airport on the metro.
Great different restaurants and bars around the hotel.
Excellent hotel. Convenient transportation to downtown.
Only one key per room
We were treated so well by staff who gave us fantastic travel advice in where to go next in Portugal.
A very nice hotel, off center but very good in everything else. Big rooms with a small kitchnete. In a quite and nice residencial area. Better have a car to visit Oporto but there is a metro station across the street, near hospital de São João.
Oporto hotels are charging breakfast. The same with Eurostars. Not a great idea because it is not usual in Portugal. But you can have breakfast in a nice café near the hotel.
Kitchenette, proximity to transport links to Porto. Good indoor, easy to access parking.
Having completed the booking in process we were handed one (plastic) key. I asked for a second key and was told it is hotel policy to issue only one key per room. I said this was nonsense whereupon I was promptly handed a second key. The bed had a rubber sheet which made it uncomfortably hot and caused the bottom sheet to bunch up.
Great and spacy rooms. Easy to public transport.
Last stop on the 15-minute Metro ride to Porto Centro; beautiful spacious room, equipped with microwave and refrigerator
Poor WiFi connection, more expensive than other hotels I have been staying in, but a notch above in quality
Everytime i come to Porto, I stay in this place. The rooms are super large and equipped with a small kitchnet. The staff is great as well.
is not the first time that the WiFi service doesn't work properly. This time, I could not even get connected. staff informed that the system has limitation of amount of users connected....
Easy access to town centre via tram system. Good parking. Cleanliness.
Bar staff also have to prepare food. Not fair on them or customers.
Excellent location at 2 minutes from metro
Generous Size of room and very quiet location .
The knobs on the kitchen cupboards were too small to grip
Wifi is very fast
Far from City center and book an apartment room but need to pay additional Eur 8 to use the kitchen
The front desk staff was a "WOW" young adults with a fantastic customer service attitude. We stayed an extra night because of the service that was rendered to us. The front desk young lady (sorry, forgot her name, brunet about 5' 2" wore glasses) I called her "professora" had a super sense of humor.
Very good price/quality.
The A/C on the room was making too much noise.
Location near local transport. Staff was very friendly and attentive
WI-FI kept disconnecting
Confort of the rooms.
Noise on the streets (facing front side of the building). Requested a room facing the back of the building but the staff disregarded our request.
Fantastic hotel and staff!! Best deal for money!! The room was extremely comfortable, spacious, huge and comfortable beds, lots of closet space, quiet and luxurious in a lovely, safe and easily accessible area. Excellent metro and bus connections compensate completely to the fact it is not in the historic center. The hotel's internet site has precise photos and description of the rooms of this new (3 year old) hotel. The staff is young and highly motivated and helpful. Breakfast is very nice and plentiful. Free WiFi works fine. Garage (indoor and outdoor) is very nice and spacious- for separate and reasonable pay. Parking is available just by hotel too- it is an Academic area- hospital and University staff and students. Chapeaux!!
Excellent metro and bus connections compensate completely to the fact it is not in the historic center.
the hotel is very new. located a bit outside of the center, but can be perfectly reached by metro (the stop is just 2 min away). there is a small kitchen in the room and supermarket 10 min away, so breakfast can be prepared. we would definately come back to this hotel
personnel could be a bit more friendlier.
Great location. Although it seems to be located far away from the city center, the metro station is just 100 meters from the hotel and it is only 10 minutes of ride to the heart of the city. Also close to the airport. 15 minute drive by car. New and clean hotel. Although in a student district, quite rooms. Really friendly staff.
Room is always a little bit cold, although the heating is max.
Not 4 stars hotel,poor breakfast,
Excellent staff, very friendly.
The bad quality of the breakfast.
Very silent, the room was wide
Wi-fi was weak in evening and night time The breakfast was poor The remote control didn't work
Very nice hotel with lovely rooms (renovated around 2 years ago?), good basement parking, and generally good service
No restaurant for lunch or dinner Had problem with TV - all channels were scrambled for most of the day, but were eventually fixed
Everything was great really. The hotel is not in the center but there's a metro stop right across that takes you there within few minutes. It's good value for money. Great place!
I'd only recommend choosing rooms facing away the main hotel entrance since there's a student cafe that could be a bit noise at night.
