Hotel Eva  

Traveling with a group of friends, We stayed in this hotel around 5 years ago. Rooms nice, but it is worth paying a little extra for the marina view & stay on the upper floors. Friends a little disturbed with people outside night club, but I did not hear a thing. Close to town for resturants & shops. Very close to the bus station to explore further afield (we visited Loule & Villamoura this time) Nice hotel & the drinks were cheaper in the hotel than at the Cafe on the marina though this is ok for a basic lunch, beer & views of the marina. No doubt we will return in the future.

The reception folks were so helpful and delightful. The restaurant recommendations were fantastic. The location was within walking distance to most things to see in Faro.

Excellent location well worth a visit!

Air can doesn't work in any of the rooms.

Very good location

It's central location and closeness of everything, ie shops, Old Town, taxis, buses and trains, restaurants and marina. The hotel was quite stylish although the rooms a little small, but very clean and pleasant staff.

The superior Room was excellent, which also had a view of the harbour. The breakfast is brilliant and everyone was friendly. The hotel is in a wonderful position. If we had been able to go a few days later the pool would have been open. I would give the hotel approximately 9.5 out of 10

The twin room was the same price with a view of the harbour but was extremely small in comparison, it also did not have tea and coffee making facilities, especially as the children are adults.

Fantastic hotel. Staff very friendly and efficient. We arrived at 11.30pm there were still 3 reception staff on duty. Very short walk to bus and train stations. When booking I followed a previous review and asked for a 4th floor room overlooking the marina, I was very pleased. Ideal location. Breakfast was fine plenty to choose from, opened at 5am which was fine for our early flight home. Restaurant food excellent. Bar staff very friendly and knowledgeable especially Americano who advised us where and where not to go. A pleasant stay.

The only downside was no tea/coffee in rooms although room service was available

location good, breakfast was great, and they even cook eggs for you. rooms clean, staff very helpful and all speak good english

wi fi was not free. also spa, was not actually a spa pool to relax in, it was facial treatments etc.

IT was an excellent hub for visiting Faro itself,and its close proximity to both bus and train stations thereby enabling us to visit near by Algavvian towns/resorts. It was good value for money.

The receptoon area was a bit soulless.there were not enough lounging areas when the weather was bad so one could read a book

Especially the calm atmosphere, the staff were so well prepared and very friendly in a relaxed way.

The location was great as you were right on the marina, and a minute walk from the old town. The breakfast in the morning was lovely as you could see right over the marina and it was available from 5.00. If you have a room over looking the marina they all have a balcony with sitting.

Staff at check in were very unpleasant and not in any way welcoming. If you want to use the pool you must pay a €15 deposit for each towel, you also had to ring in advance to let them know what you wanted stocked in your mini bar. They could not supply an iron/ironing board as they have a 'laundry service' available in the hotel. WIFI not only costs €4 per hour but you also have to hover around in the hall to get you connection. Rooms are not serviced until 3.00 or after each day. When asking to booking a return taxi for the airport they book a bus service which will cost you double the price of a normal taxi. It is right over a bus shelter so if you have a room not facing the marina you were looking over and hearing buses coming and going all day.

Breakfast is ok

The noise with the street. The windows are old and from bad quality. 2 night noisy where it was impossible to sleep Room to small. I won't come back
