Staff was great. Facilities were very good. Grounds were lovely. Great location. Very good breakfast.
Wifi was slow.
The bedroom as a beautiful balcony, the bed is really big. The staff was always very pleasant during our stay. We got a complementary plate of fruit which was nice.
They should have a solution to make the room more comfy, since the floor is in tiles which makes it quite cold. The bathroom also needs some review since it shows the heavy usage. The breakfast has lots of options but it's a bit of a shame for instance that some of the fruit is canned fruit.
The relaxation, the staff, the weather (in late October), the Algarve, the prices of drinks, meals, car hire etc. The beaches, the people.
The rooms are in need of an update.
Peacefulness of location and amazing spaciousness of room. Very professional and helpful staff. Facilities excellent, even found extra books to read when I ran out of reading material. Commuter bus handy. Excellent breakfast fare and choice. Very clean and well organised.
Evening buffet too much (encourages gluttony). I prefer a la carte. Also it's good to get out in evenings and help local restaurants with their struggling businesses.' Il sole mio' just around the corner is the pick of the best. Steam room very cold, it was warmer outside.
All Facilities are amazing. The outdoor pool, indoor pool, jacuzzi, nice room with a balcony. The buffet was very good!! Every morning I ate a very well balanced breakfast.
Probably they can pay a little bit more attention to detail and cleanliness. My impression was that the furniture and appliances on the room are getting old (probably I'm used to more modern rooms) but, in the other hand, that is also the attractiveness of the room, the classic-style (old fashion) furniture.
peace and quiet
Location rather out of the way
Lovely hotel with excellent, well maintained facilities and friendly, helpful staff. The gardens and pools are superb for relaxation, with a great pool bar and outdoor snack area for lunches. We won't return because the location doesn't fit our preferred style of holiday but it is the perfect place for those just wanting a relaxing break within a hotel and its grounds.
Mainly the location - the area is very down-at-heel and there was nowhere to enjoy a walk near the hotel. There are lots of local café bars but few decent restaurants within walking distance. The hotel's main restaurant has a canteen atmosphere and economies are evident on things like coffee and juice quality. Perhaps the organised activities around the pool could be a little more low key, so those who just want to relax quietly can do so. Similarly, it would have been good to have a quiet bar area available in the evenings. Why do we have to pay to use the fridge?
Wi-Fi very slow
Helpful Staff, Very Clean Grounds , and Nice quite location, Good breakfast.
Having to pay for use of fridge & safe
The Hotel, staff and facilities were very good, very clean. The entertainment excellent.
Found the Falesia Hotel being 4 star, charging for the use of kettle, fridge and safe out of order.
Waving palm trees, lovely gardens, great food, staff who actually care.
It is a 20 min walk to beach so don't book it of you like beach on your doorstep.
Breakfast was probably the best meal although everything was the same day after day. It would have been better if cups and saucers were already on the table at breakfast.
The variety and quality of food in the evening was quite poor. Having read previous reviews about the hotel and people raving about the quality of the food, we were looking forward to staying. I know the hotel was closing down in the next week or so but that is no excuse to not offer a 4 star standard. There was no show cooking as described in previous reviews. Everything looked as if it had been cooked earlier and just kept hot. The vegetables looked as if they were frozen reheated veg. The choice of meats was poor. Nothing like we expected after reading the reviews. We thought we had come to the wrong hotel. I have to say that the desserts were good, especially the crepes. The wine list that was available didn't have a description of what the wine was like and when we asked one of the waiters he didn't have any idea as to what any of them were like. He could only say which one was the most popular. You couldn't bring any drinks bought in the bar down into the restaurant or take any unfinished wine up to the show bar.
we liked everything about this hotel. we had been previously in 2013 and this stay was every bit as enjoyable. the staff are very friendly the atmosphere is great as is the pool area and entertainment. the restaurant always looks inviting and the food is to match. already looking forward to our next visit
my partner did not like the baileys cocktail as the pineapple juice made it curdle. not sure it should have been in there.
excellent value for money and great location
food great location great staff very helpful friendly clean lovel stay
paying fridge and safe should be included
Relaxing atmosphere, the hotel was never too busy
Bathroom had a few cracks it needed to be refurbished
facilities very good, food and drink reasonable prices, breakfast superb, would highly recommend this hotel
Would imagine the evening buffet would be repetitive if staying half board for a week or more.
The rooms were lovely, huge beds, nice bathroom and beautiful views. Staff were welcoming, friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was great every morning, definitely worth the money.
Fridge in the room was €2.50 a day. Should have been free really!
Lovely hotel, excellent staff. Bright, clean with extensive gardens and large pool area.
cost of wine
Wonderful outdoor pool Beautiful gardens Spacious room
Cool jacuzzi Cocktails - not as tasty as I'd expected them to be and the champagne cocktail was served with old champagne that had gone flat.
Food was excellent, lovely quiet hotel set in well maintained gardens. Comfortable beds friendly staff.
The food, the entertainment and it being adults only
Food was very good, superb choice, well cooked plus a very nice dinning room, with very attentive pleasant staff. Nice to be able to dress for dinner and not have shorts on view at the tables. We could not fault anything (apart from the weather for 4 days) will defiantly stay again. Top marks to all the staff
Good value Pool barman (Armin) was fantastic! Has some decent restaurants within walking distance Pretty nice pool area Good breakfast spread
Guests were mostly older British folk (not very diverse, you'll feel out of place if you're under 40) The hotel obviously partnered with a tourism company so it was very touristy A little bit outside of Albufeira (easy to get lost)
Everything about this hotel is amazing especially the food and staff.
