Nice, clean convenient location

Tv remote did not work.

The staff was very friendly. Location is near city center and close to shopping. Easy access from the airport by cab. We were here off season so the spa and sauna were not on, but the indoor pool was clean and nice. Nice selection for breakfast.

Outdated rooms with a lot of malfunctions. The receptionist (which attended our check in), who was about 50 years old, wasn't even a bit friendly, which is a bad policy and inadmissible in 4 stars hotel.

The only positive of the hotel is the location.

Not a 4 star hotel. You don't get what you pay for. Hotel is old and in desperate need of renovation. Moquete was filthy. See pictures. My room was very small. Staff unfriendly and with the wrong attitude. Made me pay for extrabed (out of 6 different hotels booked with booking.com on my trip in the islands this is the only time it happened).

Tout, hôtel très propre, très beau, bonne situation

Está situado en el centro de Horta, sólo hay que subir un poquito.

El mobiliario es antiguo. Realmente se corresponde a un hotel español de 3 estrellas y no de 4.

A ubicación: Esta na illa do Faial e está feito sobre unhas antigas instalacións dunha compañia transnacional de emisión de cable submarino. é de principios do século xx e respira nostalxia. Os comedores teñen unhas vistas espectaculares.

O equipamento das habitacións non está actualizado aos tempos de hoxe e como estivemos en duas estadias, unha das habitacións tiña varias averías (cortinas, portas do balcóns, aire acondicionado, ..)

El hotel necesita una renovación, las alfombras de los cuartos y de lis pasillos están manchadas y bastante viejas a pesar de que hacia bastante frío, nunca quisieron poner la calefacción

El desayuno para esta categoría, es malo, los colchones muy incomodos

Horta ist ein Paradies für Segler. Das "erste Haus am Platze" eignet sich bestens als Stützpunkt bzw. für einen einwöchigen Aufenthalt, um die touristisch relativ wenig erschlossenen westlichen Azoren kennen zu lernen.

Hinweis: Mangels ausreichendem Strand sind die Bademöglichkeiten im Atlantik sehr eingeschränkt.

Beste Lage auf der Insel! Toller Außenbereich in der Anlage!

Wellnessbereich schlecht gewartet aber durchaus gut ausgestattet! Küche eher mäßig aber ortsüblich!

Gosto da localização. Fica no centro da Horta e acessível a tudo. Normalmente, a vista do Hotel é também soberba.

Nesta última estadia, apenas fiquei desiludida porque me hospedaram num quarto que ficava muito longe do elevador, isolado, sem vista para o mar e visilvelmente mais antigo com manchas de humidade nas paredes.

Sauna und Ampfbad waren nicht in Betrieb.

La situation géographique, le personnel très serviable.

Dans notre chambre la moquette était vraiment très tâchée et cela faisait vraiment pas net.

Nachdem es nicht sicher war, dass wir rechtzeitig anreisen konnten, da witterungsbedingt die Fähre auszufallen drohte, habe ich ein Mail an das Hotel gerichtet, dass wir unverschuldet nicht anreisen können, jedoch die Stornierungsfrist schon abgelaufen war - es kam prompt die Antwort, dass bei Nichtanreisen uns keine Gebühr verrechnet wird, was ich aufgrund der Bestimmungen nicht als selbstverständlich erachte! Nachdem wir doch anreisen konnten, wurden wir mit einem Obstkorb empfangen! Toller Käse zum Frühstück!

Хороший отель! недешевый, но на Файале все недешево. Хорошие завтраки, своя парковка. Близко к набережной и центру.

Так как провели в нем только одну ночь, то сложно говорить о явных недостатках. Мне показалось, что это недешевое предложение.

A casa de banho tinha cabelos, os sabonetes não eram bons. E como não estava bom tempo saímos de manhã para ver a cidade e voltámos as 13.00 para descansar e tomar um banho e o quarto ainda não estava arrumado tenho a senhora da limpeza aparecido por volta das 15.30.

Colazione valida, struttura molto caratteristica (costituita da casolari stile coloniale distaccati in un bel parco), disponibilità di parcheggio interno molto ampia. Molto vicino al centro facilmente raggiungibile a piedi.
