Centrally located surrounded by nice green area. Spacious bathroom. Housekeeping personnel really helpful and super friendly! The majority of the rooms don't have a view over Pico mountain and pitywe were not among the lucky ones to get one rooms like this. Room had a strong moisture smell. First contact with reception staff on our arrival at the hotel was unfriendly. Breakfast could be better and surprisingly disappointing since they offer canned fruits and juices instead of fresh ones in islands like Azores that produce many fruits.

Excellent location. I stayed in one of the few rooms with a sea view which had a magnificent view. Friendly staff. The hotel is in desperate need of refurbishment and maintenance works within the interior (the air conditioning did not work on the floor of my room...and I was there in August). Despite the friendliness of the employees, the service is poor and has serious flaws: you cannot eat or drink in the hotel between breakfast and 12am, as the bars (including by the swimming pool) are closed. There is only internet access at the hotel reception.

It is very central in Horta, and it has an interesting history. The hotel is not 100% up to standard on rooms, but it is nice and comfertable, and the service is very good. The pool and outdoor area is very nice. Nothing really. We had to pay for use of the tennis court... Could have been included, but then they also need to earn some money..

This hotel is in a good location. Many rooms are facing the sea and command a good view of Pico. Some rooms not facing the sea even have good quiet atmosphere.

we requested a room with a view and did we get one. a beautiful view over the harbor with pico island in the distance. the staff was helpful and it helped that we thoroughly enjoyed our visit to both islands.

Great view of the Horta harbour, great comfort, great location very close to town hrabour and center. Hotel Wifi internet access could be provided for free given that the Marina internet network can be accessed for free from the bedroom terrace.

The pillows were tiny and lumpy: almost made it impossible to sleep; the qualtiy of the food was poor. This doesn't deserve to be classed as a 4-star hotel.

Cet hôtel est remarquablement bien situé ; la vue sur l'île voisine de Pico est extraordinaire . Le restaurant qui possède lui aussi une vue imprenable sur le canal et l'île de Pico est d'excellente qualité . Le personnel est très aimable et très efficace .
