having booked the hotel six months in advance, I got a message at 1;30am on the day I was to travel to tell me that there was a problem with my credit card. The hotel had taken the details, but entered the wrong expirey date, their mistake. This caused a huge problem for me. I never got an explanation or apology. The heating was broken in my room, and pumped out cold air for my entire stay. Never fixed. My phone was either lost or stolen outside, but when I asked the hotel receptionists to assist or help me out in some way, Taxi company/ Police, they were completely nonplussed. Useless in fact. I wouldn't stay there again. I'd prefer to be closer to the City centre.. I seemed to live in Taxis.
The breakfast included was outstanding and the staff were excellent. Very attentive and efficient.
We had an issue with the aged lift. No-one responsed to the alarm fortunately we were able to force the door and get out. One we informed the staff they shut it down to be repaired
Awesome value for money, pretty sure I had the best room in the hotel. Breakfast was pretty good, and the location us great.
- Location - Staff - Breakfast
Wi-Fi kept failing, despite having good signal
Butlers were very efficient.
One male front desk staff not accomodating
Location is very well, rooms are comfortable and clean, breakfast is very good.
The staff is not very helpfull at the front office, they are only interesting to sell the sighseeing tours.hifi was very poor
the hotel was ideally located, comfortable and staff were friendly especially in the bar area ( can't remember the barman's name ) but he was great the breakfast staff were good also. the breakfast itself was excellent pleny of choice. the room was comfy, and very quiet.Would reccomend
nothing to dislike
Great hotel for a city break. We have now stayed there 4 times in the last 4 years and will return there next October.
The best was the location, the staff
Location and friendly staff.
GREAT LOCATION. NICE ROOM AND STAFF POLITE.
DIDNT LIKE SETTING MY OWN TABLE FOR BREAKFAST. NO PLATES, CUTLERY OR CUPS. WAS PAIN ENOUGH LOOKING FOR TEA AND COFFEE WITHOUT HAVING TO SET TABLE.
Great hotel with good location near to Metro and Hop on Off Tour Buses. Breakfast could be busy but food was plentiful and hot! Ideal for weekend stay in Lisbon
Decent location Decent breakfast
Terrible front desk staff Terrible wifi Small rooms No gym Crooked taxi drivers parked outside that take advantage of tourists
Nice location, good accomodation
Porter wanted to confirm if I had checked out before calling a taxi to the airport; Staff were not able to suggest restaurants
The location was pretty central and since we are walkers it didn't bother us to walk the 25 minutes to the core. Plus taxes are so cheap that was always an option.
Beds were awful. They had a plastic cover on the mattress which made them noisy and hot to sleep on. Plus they were quite lumpy. I ended up sleeping on top of the duvet with a blanket. We also had one front desk staff who was quite unfriendly.
Location Breakfast WiFi strong and free Lots of hot water
3 elevators spread out no bidet slippery shower stall
We could not fault this Hotel in anyway, such excellent value for money for a Hotel so central to everything. you have the Hop on Hop off bus outside, and also the metro, if you have a car they also have a car park. if you are wanting to visit Lisbon don't look any further for a Hotel, this is excellent.
Very friendly staff, good breakfasts, wifi
Close to the city center. Delicious breakfast.
Good central location, nice breakfast and comfy bed.
Hairs in bathroom, enamel chipped in bath, glasses not cleared, no iron, air con very loud. One of the lifts was broken so only one lift holding a max of 6 people. Definitely not 4 star hotel.
It was comfortable and had a good location
Room is a bit small
very good location within easy walking distance of centre--also Metro outside front door
Friendly staff / Location close to city centre / Metro station in front of the hotel / Train stations for trains to Sintra or Estoril can be reached within a few minutes by metro
Noisy room / Hotel overcharged (but gave a refund when I complained)
The location is very convenient Very clean Luxurious room as a 5 star hotel
The venting machine located in the corridor making a lot of noise
