Everything about Four seasons could not be falted. Staff were friendly, the resort was immaculate, grounds and pool kept clean and well manicured. The apartment is so well equipped, would certainly go back
Staff very helpful and polite. Food was excellent . The apartment and pool area was lovely. We had a very relaxing and happy holiday. Everything you need for a perfect holiday.
Nothing bad to say.
- Child Friendly - Staff Helpful on the whole
- Charged for fresh towels
The hotel is great staff were excellent the facilities excellent the apartment was excellent couldnt complain at all balcony great location is recluse..you can walk like i did to the beach but its a bit of a walk and at night didnt feel very well lit as its a bit quiet but taxi cost only 8 euro from town center back.
only thing really was the fact i wanted to cancel the booking but was like 36hrs after the deadline to cancel. and the booking was still over 10 days away but they didnt want to budge and were going to enforce their cancellation charge of the whole trip ..3 nights ..@£500. This for me is unreasonable and even 1 night cancellation charge of £150 is silly. so i ended up going and although i had a good time.. i felt kinda cheated for being there. To be fair was the rules but i dont like being forced into things.
Staff were very very professional and friendly. The facilities throughout the hotel were excellent. We had a most relaxing holiday and would definitely return.
Pool area. Room were fab.
No manners from from bar staff perticirlarly one young girl. Very rude and rude again for breakfast working as a waitress.
Everything was as expected from this organization. I've stayed at the Quinto De Lagos area on other vacations.
Nothing everything was perfect.
First time here. Room ready by 2:30pm. Facilities great. Towels and kitchen linen changed daily. Maid even switched dishwasher on! Little train into town was brill as it was a bit of a walk. Any concerns dealt with efficently by staff.
Attitude of timeshare guests to those guests booking a stay. Thought they owned the place and wouldn't speak. Time of cleaning sometomes was very late in afternoon.Possibly alter time of train in eveming to include a 7:15 journey?
Great staff, great pools, great weather, food cheap and good.
Nothing not to like
This is a great family hotel - plenty of space in the apartments and a range of good pools and facilities. The location is good, close enough to the Marina to walk to. Great staff attitude, very helpful and pleasant.
Some selfish holidaymakers secure sun loungers early morning, even though they only want them late afternoon!! Staff need to monitor this more carefully and remove the towels enabling others to find a sheltered space when required.
The hotels understands that children are as important as adults on a family holiday.Everything you need from a modern apart-hotel. Room facilities are first class.
Some refurbishment probably needed in certain areas but that is a minor issue.
Very clean, regular linen change, helpful and friendly staff. Plenty of sunbeds by the lovely pools.
Location is a bit far from marina, more than the 20 minutes stated.
The complex as a whole is very family orientated. Great to have the three pools, kids pool, teenagers pool which allowed inflatables and a deep pool. The cleanliness of the pool, hotel and the apartment was excellent. The staff were great. Nice to have the choice of old village and marina close by. Great base for venturing around the algarve.. For young families great to have a fully equipped kitchenettes.
Loved the size of the 2 bedroom apartment (as a family of 5 we find it difficult to find suitable accommodation). This apartment was excellent (huge main bedroom with plenty of space for a bed for our 3 year old and a separate twin room for our daughters 9 and 6), so spacious and quiet (overlooking the golf course). Great living area/kitchen and numerous TV channels. Half board option was such good value - great food most nights and such friendly, helpful staff everywhere! The kids loved the pools, especially because they were allowed inflatables in them! Overall, a great place for families to stay and would happily return.
The accommodation was clean, comfortable and very well equipped with excellent maid service. Pool area very spacious and clean, lots of sun beds-and umbrellas. Liked the complimentary fruit and the way the staff kept the area clean by collecting used cups, etc.
Choice of food at dinner. Menu was fine for lunch but rather limited for an evening meal. Location was very nice but further from Vilamoura than expected. Sports equipment on squash court was very poor. A couple of decent racquets and balls would have been good.
For a four seasons resort the service was very poor at the reception. To be charged for use of pool towels is incredibly poor as well. The general state of the resort did not live up to my expectations or other four seasons hotels and resorts I have stayed at previously.
I liked the resort overall; very safe for young kids. Met lots of very nice UK and Irish people. Good location, food, staff, evening entertainment. I would go again.
The outdoor pool was too cold in July for young kids... ours would not get in.. and so only used the indoor pool. The golf next door was expensive.
Excellent quality accommodation - even the Studio apartments are of generous internal proportions - with varied entertainment through the week. 'No reservation' policy for sunbeds seemed to be applied fairly. This was our second visit and will not be the last.
Terrace for Studio apartment does not have its own loungers due to exterior space limitation.
Staff could not have been more helpful dishwasher and microwave not working on our arrival , however a prompt visit from the maintenance man soon fixed the tripped switch for the microwave and the dishwasher was replaced that day to a brand new machine , complete with dishes done . Where else do you receive this level of service?
This was our 3rd visit , never ever disappoints .
We just returned from staying at the Four Seasons and we will be back. We had no complaints at all. Everything from apartments, to staff to location, it was top quality. Very clean, friendly, spacious and good location.
Minor thing was that the beach is a 5 min drive - but not a problem as the pool areas are terrific.
really well equipped rooms, cleaned daily, very nice breakfast and a big pool. Really good value for money.
Only a 15-20min walk to the Marina area. Ask reception for directions. (You can pick up a free map in the little grocery shop near by (you will need to ask reception for directions to this also). Staff were very friendly and polite. Fantastic apartment - very clean, spacious and had everything you could possibly require or need. The resort and pool are also very well maintained and exceptionally clean. Buffet dinner if you choose that option (affordable - 3 course with glass of wine for €20) - the BBQ night was good but I wouldn't recommend the others. Plenty of pool side sun loungers. Early risers do put their towels out but there are still plenty available. 30 minutes drive from Faro airport. Free previously read books available downstairs in the games room near the gym (in case you finish a book and need to pick up another). We choose the B&B option for our stay. Breakfast is substantial - fresh selections of fruit (chopped oranges, pineapple, strawberries, melon etc..), yogurts (& yogurt drinks), pastries & breads/toast, cereals, and full English breakfast (eggs, bacon, sausages, tomatoes, mushrooms, beans), juices, tea and coffee. Very close to the Princess Garden restaurant - I definitely recommend going here - delicious. Perfect for a sunny relaxing get away. Not suitable for those looking for serious nightlife. Various tours are arranged and stop at the hotel for guest collection if you wish to partake.
A la carte is expensive; similar if not higher than Dublin prices. Not many amenities around the resort. Limited restaurant & bar selection, one small and expensive grocery shop near by. Service was a little slow. I want to say attentive but it seemed they were there to clear any dishes as soon as you were finished with them but when you actually wanted something it might take a few minutes to catch someone's eye. Cocktails were quite poor, I would not recommend purchasing. WiFi in the bar area only - they have WiFi facility for the apartments but there is an additional charge. You have to pay for the pool towels €1.10/day - we took one each and kept it for the week, cleaning them ourselves. Not negative but a tip: Apartment was excellent but so you are aware the balcony on the studio apartments are very small. Also thin walls, you can easily hear doors closing with neighbouring apartments. Make a request if you do not wish to be around small babies or noise etc. when booking.
Really nice surroundings and nice warm service.
Breakfast was a little monotonous with the same limited selections served every day.
The restaurant staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was very good value. Our apartment was of good size.
It was a shame with it being timeshare that a lot of guests ate elsewhere at night so there was not that many guests eating in the restaurant causing little atmosphere.
Lovely, spacious, clean room, very nice surroundings, friendly and polite staff, good food
Reception staff sometimes a bit judgemental when was asking for explanations, not heated swimming pool but it did not affect our holiday.
