Staff very friendly and helpful. The whole layout and concept of the hotel Gat Rossio very well done - terraces, decks, lounge area were lovely. Very good location
No access to tea/coffee. No fridge or ice. Ice cupboard contained mouldy bucket. Tea/coffee machine in lounge area not working.
Breakfast was outstanding. Very easy to get to from the airport via Metro, just steps from the Restauradores stop. Friendly staff.
Heating was effective. Breakfast was very good including the coffee. I loved the modern design of the rooms and everything you needed was there. Also let me borrow an adaptor as left mine at home
Breakfast was rich.
Fabulous location - minutes from the Metro and railway station. Decent breakfast, quickly replenished if anything ran out.
Room was a wee bit small - but what do you expect for the money?
I liked the breakfast! Good coffe, fresh orange juice, fruits.
My room ws facing the street and there was a lot of noise comming from the street!
Had to wait until 3pm to check in and gentleman at reception was not sympathic to our age (both over 60 )we spent 3 hours walking about
The location, the breakfast, the well designed public and outdoor spaces, it was just that bit different from the norm.
No bad experience
breakfast is excellent and offers gluten free food, free wifi, great location, friendly staff, very clean
room was very small
Hotel staff were friendly, breakfast is excellent especially fresh orange juice. Location is central and close to many restaurants and important monuments.
Room was small with no view
Bathroom was wide and clean. Breakfast was Ok.
room was very small and lift mechanism was very loud. street noise could reach me on the 6th floor
It is very near to subway and other transportations , it offers very delicious breakfast . So comfortable rooms with nice view from window!!
Awesome location just a few steps from a main square (well served with public transportation). Very good and rich breakfast. Nice rooms, not so big but trendy and with modern furniture like the rest of the hotel.
Small bathroom with some defects (low pressure of hot water, small dimension of the toilet and the washbowl)
Location is perfect. Two metro stations of different lines are very close to hotel. Railroad station is close too. Majority of sightseeing attractions can be reached by feet easily.
Bed is too short, was not comfortable to sleep at all. Breakfast is very poor.
You could not ask for a better location, literally feet from Restauradores metro station and Rossio train station. The bed was pretty comfortable and the room was very clean. The staff was very helpful and polite.
Rooms are small, but not unusually so by European standards. There was some outside noise on the weekend from restaurants below.
Upon arrival we had a romantic deal and the room was laid out beautifully with roses champange chocolates candles the works! It was great to see! The hotel is very close to the station and all public transport. Short walk away from the see and a main strip of restos and bars! The Breakfast is quirky a DIY buffet with loads of goodies. The only issue we had and it was not to do with the hotel it was people kept reserving places at breakfast leaving us no where to sit at times, But the staff turnt the tables fast enough. The rooms are small but practical and I read complaints about the sizes of the room but to me it was no issue.
potentially it could have more plug sockets but a minor thing in comparison to the serve we recieved
Very good location
Very small room
We went also in their hotel located in Berlin and we were very happy. Also this one is very good location, gentle staff and very nice breakfast.
The staff were lovely and very helpful. Also the location is fantastic.
There was a strange high pitched buzzing noise in our room on and off and it flooded a bit when it rained. Other than that everything was great.
I arrived in the rain and was a bit frazzled; but the staff were amazingly nice and friendly defusing any gruffiness I had. The room was perfectly awesome. The bathroom is whistle clean with clean fluffy white towels. My room faced a back courtyard reminiscent of Paris. The lighting is amazing as you control the lights from this groovy kind of headboard displayed over the bed. I loved the interior design and decoration -- very cool, modern, clean and comfy. Lots of English speaking stations for those of us Portugese challenged. The Russio neighborhood is awesome -- cobblestone street area lined with lots of choices of restaurants and I believe there's a supermarket across the way from the hotel. Breakfast was also just great. I wished it weren't raining out as they have a very cool outdoor deck which would make a great place for eating breakfast or having drinks in the evening.
This has nothing to do with the hotel: I took a taxi from the airport to the hotel and he charged me 22 euros. So I was planning on taking the aerobus back for 3.50 euros, but a taxi lady came by and picked me up for only 9 euros back . . . as it was raining, it was worth it.
the hotel is centrally located, you can walk to all the main sights, the rooms are clean, the staff is friendly and helpful, the breakfast is very good, there are many restaurants nearby
most rooms are quite small and the hangers could be better designed; our room faced towards the garbage containers in the back street and there was noise every night at the end of the evening when the garbage was being collected, but that didn't last long and after that the room was quiet.
Friendly staff, great location, comfortable room, modern decor, good breakfast buffet, relaxed atmosphere
From the airport it takes about 25 minutes by bus or train(metro} depending of time of day bus cost 3.50 euros, train cost 1.90 euros to restauradores but first you must change at s sebastiao it's so easy.if your looking for a great breakfast this is not the place but lf it is location you're looking for look no further and the price is good for the location.
The hotel is one of the best places I've ever stayed in my life. Beside metro station, city centre, clean, comfortable. When I'll be back to Lisboa I'll stay there for sure!!! Wonderful!!!
Nothing. Everything was perfect.
