Breakfast was amazing. It included fresh orange juice cooked eggs. The location is very convenient for sight seeing. The rooms are lovely and the staff was very friendly helpful and knowledgeable. Definitely recommended as it is amazing value for money.
Cosy suite for a very affordable price, central location, helpful staff, great breakfast, beautiful hotel.
Free wifi and breakfasts were excellent
loved the funky set up. Very different to most city centre hotels. Stayed here because stayed in Gat Berlin earlier in year and this one didn't disappoint.
we didn't mind the noise from the street below which went on all night but it wouldn't suit some people. If you don't like noise, ask for a room away from the street.
City centre location within walking distance of all the sights. Great wifi even in rooms. Spotlessly clean room and bathroom. Breakfast adequate.
Rooms very small with limited storage - ok for short stay.
There was a lot to do within walking distance from the hotel. Very clean. Staff very friendly. Nice breakfast.
Good breakfast included. Excellent stay overall -- nice central location.
Small room Noise from outside during night
Breakfast was really good. The small terrace was very nice.
Some persons of the staff were not helpful at all at any time. Rooms in the first floor are small and there is a lot of noise from the street all the night. Impossible to sleep.
wonderful breakfast on terrace confortable and cozy rooms
localization, clean nice modern hotel with fantastic patio to spend time at
It is very nicely designed! the staff is very nice, the terrace and courtyard are nice. the location can't be better, perfect to explore Lisbon. Although limited facilities but it fulfills most basic needs. With elevator. Somewhat child-friendly. Practices sustainable principles. Give a positive hostel feeling with the collective seating area
The standard rooms are a bit too small. Little variation on breakfast but excellent for 3-stars. Price is ok but for Lisbon slightly high
Very central, walking distance to main attractions 1 min to metro, fantastic breakfast, kind and helpul staff. Bedrooms are clean and in a modern style.
Wifi was out of service in the rooms. Took two days to fix it ... too long.
Excellent location and friendly, helpful staff
Tiny, minimalist rooms, the breakfasts were very ordinary and the breakfast staff and room could not cope with the numbers of guests.
The two main things are indeed the great and multi-lingual staff, as well as the thought-through breakfast! The quality of the commodities outweighed the boil-your-own-eggs-situation.
Situated in the middle of downtown where most tourists are, and what comes with that. This is not a very spacious hotel, nor was our room very large. The small bathroom featured a shower with poor water power and loosely screwed hardware, which was surprising given the overall great look-and-feel of the hotel in general.
paid for double room - got single. they said there isn't other room. A new couple, 10 minutes later - got standard double. speaking angrily to manager - she took me to choose a new room (as promised and paid) among some free rooms!!! So - make a condition that you'll get what you pay for, because it is a good hotel, in bast location
Efficient, clean and good location for the price.
Friendly and very heplful staff. Excellent location. Modern design.
Note: We stayed in the second building (entrance through the terrace), so that everything in my review is about that building. An extremely small room (even without a wardrobe). No wi-fi. Constant problems with hot water. Entrance to the room from a common terrace area - if somebody talks on the terrace you can hear them in your room and vice versa.
The rooms are clean and breakfast is good. Location is also great, accessible to metro & tram stations, restaurants, shopping and tourist spots.
Rooms are small and have no closet. WiFi is poor on the other building of the hotel.
Position, just a few minutes walk to Rossio station and very close to two main metro stations.
I've been here on holiday (July 14) and enjoyed Lisbon while staying in the Gat Rossio. The Hotel is very designed and artsy, which was nice. The room had steep stairs that one would need to climb up to get to the bed, but I loved the interior and design. Also nice was the terrace to sit outside and the breakfast buffet.
BUT, if you need Wifi desperately or for business purposes, there comes the disappointment: we were told Wifi would be repaired soon every day but it never worked around our room or anywhere for that matter. When we asked about a discount because we had clearly come to this hotel also because on the booking site it offered internet, they declined and told us, this was just an offer from the hotel. How rude?!! So, beds, breakfast and shower were also JUST an offer and we could be lucky to have a bed in our room.? Sounded like a unnecessary excuse to me and I would definitely give a discount if I had promised something that was clearly not happening.
Good location, very central and close to most important tourism areas. Nice breakfast.
Wi-Fi didn't work on the room for the entire 5 days. This is completely unacceptable. They always said they were "looking into it". Eventually they just quit and told me: "Anyway, it's a free service we offer you". NO WAY! What else is free and can't be relied upon? Lights? Towels? Also, the shower was terrible, no pressure.
Location: 50 metres from Restuarodores Metro Station and the Square, just a few hundred metres from Rossio Metro and the Square, and within half a kilometre of Praca de Figuiera Metro and Square. Also Estacio Rossio is just across the road. Underground trains, buses, trams and overground trains everwhere. Style: Funky, not quite 'boutique' but definite style everywhere which includes lots of green and even cat flaps on some doors. Facilities: Rooms are tight for space and there are no cupboards only open shelves and hangings, bathrooms are very small but the shower is excellent and all the plumbing works. Air Con is good too. Free WiFi but can be patchy in the rooms, though better on the terrace. Communal: There is a Terrace on the first floor which is an excellent open space to relax, use wifi, eat breakfast, etc, and an enclosed lounge just off here if weather is wet. Vending machines for drinks and snacks. Value: For the location, quality of the furnishings and plumbings, wifi and air con, and a good breakfast it is 5 stars, but if you want larger rooms and a breakfast of 50 items then book a premium hotel.
Wifi was not reliable in the rooms, although to be fair we were sometimes trying to connect 3 devices in our room. On the Terrace it was much better. Breakfast: Adequate buffet fayre, but the only hot option was DIY hard boiled eggs, which sometimes got nicked before I could get mine out. Breakfast was exactly the same everyday, which may not matter if you only stay 2 nights.
