Hostel was o.k. but there is no place to park the car.

The art work is fantastic...staff are very helpful...private rooms are great value for money which is why we stayed another 6 nights...very central to everything

It was a really friendly place with a huge atmosphere. You could cook for yourself and you also have a kicker, internet and a lot of useful service.

The breakfast wasn´t so good. Sometimes you have to wait for the cafe- one day was like 40 minutes- and it wasn´t specially jammy :-((

It is free and nice. You can use the kitchen,the garden . And the staffs are kind.

Because I slept on the first flor, it's near to the door of the hostel, it's a little bit noisy although on the door it said that we have sleeping people here.

We stayed 2 nights in deluxe double room "Bairro Azull" with private bathroom and toilet. The room is small but nothing is missing and you will have everything you need - comfy bed, cable tv, free wifi. The breakfast is probably the best we had in any hostel so far. The coffee was great :)

The staf played music loud untill 3 in the morning do we asked him to turn it of. The beds are very hard and the rooms very cold.

Room upgrade for free, just because they had one available. Friendly staff at reception. Walking distance to main city centre attractions.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. There was a little bit cold in our room through the night because of its size. Breakfast included in the price maybe didn't have everything what we would like to eat in the morning, but for sure it was adequate to the price. I'll recommend it to these of you, who is looking for nice hostel close to main attractions in Lisbon.

Impolite staff, they changed our reserved room with a poorest room without any apologize or refund.

Location was great. Though dangerous neighbourhood. Some streets you shouldn't go (advised by locals) due to prostitutes, use of weapons, stealing. So ask the guys where to go and not to go. Great about the location is that it is super close to the castle and other look-outs. Great to stay one night here. After being noticed about possible bed-bugs I was upgraded for free to a private room on another level. Saved me 15EUR and bed-bug problems.

Discussion about unsafe neighbourhood, no open restaurants at night around the corner you would be allowed to walk alone to (but a nice Nepalese, great conversations and free soccer games to watch!) :). The discussion about bed-bugs and the - real aunts in my room I got. I am not sure if I really wanted to go there again. It wasn't all bed. But I am personally fuzzy about bedbugs. Sorry guys! That said: Bedbugs can happen also in 5-Star hotels (!!!) it's a common problem among hotels + hostels.

The structure is good but the position in the city is very bad and dangerous!

The staff gave me the wrong room: I had a reservation for a girls room and they gave me a room with two old man.

I'm Manuela and it was my first time in such a type of accomodation.... previously I just used hotels, not hostels. I must confess that it was a pleasant surprise.... nicely decorated and being improved, I really felt at home, once everybody around tried to make us feel confortable: Micael a nice young men trying to help everybody, my insomnia companion, polite and professional despite is young age, an asset for this hostel, Nuno allways helpful and in a good mood, the bartender, the breakfast keeper, the cleanning lady and the other receptionist whose name I disn't ask.... these guys/girls make this place an unique and repeatable experience as they give you a personalised service. Ahh, the breakfast is great!!! Fresh, with lots of things to choose from and buffet, meaning you can eat whatever you feel to. This hostel policy is feel at home!!!! Our room, LAPA deluxe, was pretty clean well furnished and modern (well, it just missed a chair which I just forgot to ask for, they would have put one there, of course). We took our 18 year old she dog with us and she behaved properly thinking she was at her place. The garden is a peaceful and resting place at the end of the day, where we relaxed after our cultural visits, while other guests read a book, talked and enjoyed the place. Personally, it was my personal refuge during the night, once I don't sleep much, but Micael kept me company, thank you. It isn't centrally located, we're talking about 2 palaces connected by the garden, which is great as it is quiet, but the famous 28 tram stops just in front of it and 1 minute far from the hostel there are plenty of buses and descending the road you'll get to the subway, so I'd say it has a great location. In the surroundings you'll find supermarkets, all kind of restaurants from sushi to fancy and home made food ones. Good value for your money: quality service, nice accommodation for just a few bucks....

The services and facilities are of high qualitym so the hostel is comparably appealling, especially the hostel staff Roy who is always showing hospitality to newers.

The location is not ideal as it is a little dangerous nearby at night, as Roy made an unexpected mistake, so my name is removed from the room list so I have to change to another hostel in order to make me have to pay 17 more eurosm which seems unforgivable. Roy, I love your hospitality and readiness, but be careful next time.

Well the only thing I liked was the location meaning that it was rather close to those nice little streets and fado restaurants.

Where should I start? The location - unles you prefer sleeping over (in case you are lucky to get not the first floor corner room) busy street. The noise of other guests ( shoting doors, singing in a shower ...) even if you have so called private room. The light from the coridor which comes from this window over the door. But if you are not planing on sleeping in Lisbon this is a place for a budget stay :)

the staff was extremely helpful, warm, kind, funny.... It would be tough to find a better group..... It was as if each was an owner who wanted you to get the best possible impression of the hotel and the city. They bent over backwards to make us feel comfortable

The breakfasts were bare minimum.....self serve: bread, butter, some poor quality ham and cheese, jam, bad coffee, NO cereals, no eggs, nothing hot. Bring your own fruit, cereal, go across the street for a good cup of coffee, and the problem is solved.
