I stayed at Golda Sol for a short break with friends and simply cannot fault it. The accomodation is basic but spotlessly clean and represents excellent value for the price we paid. The hotel owners do not speak English but then I don't speak Portuguese either so I can hardly fault them for that, but we got by and everything was done with a smile. They were very helpful and nothing seemed to be too much trouble. She was even prepared to serve our breakfast at all hours of the day, and there is a good restaurant just across the road for more substantial meals. There is a lovely outside seating area and good swimming pool facilities, plus a games room which kept us big "kids" entertained! I would definitely recommend it for a short break. |

Clean, friendly. The hotel was very isolated from Faro, more or less in the middle of nowhere. If without a car, like we were, then you will find it frustrating. It was also next to a very busy road that we walked daily to get to the nearest bus stop to Faro and due to the absence of any footpath or hard shoulder, and the crazy speeds of the local drivers, I'm gratful that we got out alive. |

The staff were very friendly and helpful once we got over the language barrier! The room was basic but clean and comfortable. We would stay there again. We had a very good breakfast! The outside area looked as though it is in the process of improvements, which was a bit off-putting when you arrive |

A wonderful hotel! The owners were extra lovely and the hotel and room were perfectly clean, fresh and with a very nice atmosphere. Good private shower and toilet, balcony, clean towels and linen, quiet at night and with a nice pool and seating area. Great value for money and perfect for those not wishing to be in the middle of Faro, or those who like us are traveling away from Faro. Was a 10 min drive from the airport. We loved it and will return. |

Extrema simpatia da gerente da hospedaria. Terraço muito agradável. Vista simpática. Só achei esquisito cobrarem a tarifa por utilização do ar condicionado à parte. A estadia não foi mais agradável porque os quartos são demasiado quentes uma vez que optámos por não pagar esse valor extra. |

Patronne parlant parfaitement le francais et toute prete à vous aider pour préparer vos visites,piscine. Prix trop cher par rapport à la qualiter de la chambre (chambre trop petite pour 3 personnes)ensuite le fait que l'on nous demandes de payer la chambre dés notre arriver et qui plus ait en espèce pour que cela n'engendre pas de frais aux propriétaires,petit déjeuner un peu juste pour un ado,hotel le plus cher de notres séjour au Portugal et franchement il ne le mérite pas |

Está junto a una carretera transitada, pero la habitación estaba bien insonorizada y no hubo ninguna molestia al respecto. Lo único que podría reseñar es que me pidieron que abonara el importe por adelantado el día que llegamos (¿?) y preferían en metálico. Pagué en metálico el segundo día de nuestra estancia. Eso me extrañó, porque nunca me había ocurrido, pero me dijeron que era habitual ahí. Creo que no es adecuado ese detalle. |
