The Grande Hotel is located in Bom Jesus do Monte, just 15 minutes from the centre of Braga, and has an excellent view over the whole city.
You can easily visit the Natural Park of Bom Jesus, a few steps from our hotel, or the Citânia de Briteiros.
The main architectural/ historical monuments around the hotel are the Sanctuary of Bom Jesus, the Elevator and Stairs of Bom Jesus and the Sanctuary of Sameiro.
In the historic center of Braga you can find the Cathedral and its museum, the Palace of the Bishop, the Garden of Santa Barbara, Biscaínhos museum and the theater building Theatro Circo.
The University of Minho and the future New Nanotechnology Center are about 5 minutes from the hotel.

The staff is very helpful and friendly! The entire stay is pleasant because the room is spacious and very clean;the view from the balcony was beautiful as well! Wireless internet is not available in the room which is a slight downside of the room. |

Warm and friendly helpful staff, helped with the luggage, showed us our rooms and suggested some excellent restaurants. Romantic arrangement was great including an abundant breakfast. More then its Money worth. If any; not all staff is English speaking (but there is always someone around) |

A real family hotel offering great hospitality and really good value. The location provides great views over the hills and a very relaxed environment around Bom Jesus, but is easily accessible to the city by car or public transport. |

This is a family run hotel and the owners and staff were so friendly. The 'romantic room' arrangement was excellent - fruit, fresh flowers, chocolate and champagne on ice, and the views from the balcony were lovely. The breakfast was very generous and beautifully presented in the lovely little rooftop dining room. The online price was good value too. Nothing, although the hotel restaurant is owned by someone else and the menu was very basic. The area has 3 other restaurants, one of which was closed on a Friday evening (!) and the other (the nearest one to hotel), which we chose, was bad. |

Very friendly and helpful staff, one couldn't ask for more. Continental breakfast including good choice of fresh fruits, cereals and cakes. Spacious rooms. Location is near Bom Jesus with a decent choice of nearby restaurants (walking distance) and nice walks. However, keep in mind that distance to Braga city center is about 5 kms, so a car is recommended. |

Located in a beautiful and tranquile park, nice view over Braga. Ideally situated for discovering Braga and Guimaraes. Excellent value for money off-season. You have to go by car for lunch or dinner. |

Me ha gustado la ubicacion Casi todo mal, desayuno penoso, servicios del hotel escasos, el parking estrecho y si lluve se forma piscina dentro, no tienes intimidad, habitaciones bonitas pero frias, se escuchan ruidos de las otras habitaciones |

La atención del personal, el confort de la habitación con el suelo enmoquetado, las vistas, y la oferta de Winter Nights, excelente. Todo ha estad bien, pero por decir algo, tal vez la ubicación y la falta de indicadores del hotel, aunque la señora del hotel ya nos comentó que se debía a obras que estaban haciendo en la carretera y le quitaron la señal, así que aparte de eso nada más. |

Simpatia e tratamento excelente por parte dos funcionários. Muita comodidade e sossego num ambiente extraórdinário. Excelente pequeno almoço, melhor do que muitos buffets, aconselhamos o pequeno almoço no quarto. Restaurante do hotel com excelente qualidade e serviço. Voltaremos com certeza! |
