Really nice hotel with great view! It is situated on the hill over the city of Braga, so there's a great city view. Bom Jesus cathedral, stairs and funicular are in a few minutes walking down. There are some restaurants and a park near the hotel. Host was very good, she spoke Portugese, French and a little bit English. We used a laundry, it was about 2 euro per jeans.
The hotel is situated on the hill, we had a car, and I think without a car it can be hard to stay there - you need remember working hours of the funicular or walk up the long stairs. Also if you have a lot of luggage it will be hard to get any changes of transport. One day we returned to the hotel and saw that all restaurants nearby are closed. We drove down to the McDonalds but without a car we gonna have to go to sleep hungry. So it's great place if you have a car, without it you can get some asperities.
Peace and quiet; wonderful views; good breakfast; pleasant staff and good room. Very good value for money and would definitely stay there again.
Wash basin wasn't very functional and the room could have used a second comfy chair. Tea making facilities would have been good
The Staff were very friendly and helpful especially the lady at the reception. On checking out of the hotel I had left my recharger in the room. I phoned the reception and the lady kept it for me so that I could pick it up a few days later. That's what I call good service! We would definitely book there again.
The double bed was too small for us.
The staff were very friendly and helpful and the hotel had a really nice atmosphere. The view from the breakfast terrace was excellent and the breakfast itself was very good and varied. The hotel was very clean and comfortable.
You have a wonderful view from the rooms on all Braga. I had at the bar the best cocktails I have ever drinked... True story, you should try it!
The Wi-Fi was down
Close to bom jesus which is the best attraction in braga. Breakfat wss very good.
Bed not comfortable. Simple room but fair gor price.
Great location, just across the street from the entrance to Bom Jesus. Nice view from the large balcony. Good breakfast.
Wi-Fi was non-existent. The one hotel computer in the lobby was glacially slow. Just checking email was a chore. Both the curtains and the shower curtains had mold along the bottom. Hallways are very dark. The décor was very dated. Needs a major renovation.
Location very good and super view from the window. Very big balcony. Staff was freindly although they didn´t speak English but were friendly and helpful all the time.
Terrible smell (like fresh paint) when you enter the hotel. Luckily not in our room. Wi-fi was available only in the lobby.
Great position at top of Bom Jesus. Comfortable large room with spectacular view of the valley below and an excellent breakfast. Great value.
Internet was a bit dodgy, but it worked overall.
Location of the hotel is great. Walking distance to the top of Bom Jesus. The breakfast was very good with tasty fruit pies.
Sleeping quality was terrible due to the bad smell of the room ( ex smoking room I suppose). Showering quality was also very poor, the shower is very old( or stylised this way) and it is impossible to set comfort temperature. There is no restaurant nearby to have dinner at.
Big, spacious room, comfortable bed, great view, just outside of the city, next to Bom Jesus church.
No chair or table on the balcony No eggs or bacon for breakfast, but there are plenty of options
Interesting equiped - Style 100 years ago. Many cakes and some fruit for breakfast.
W-Lan didnt work in room, only at reception. Heating is weak. First room I got was very close to street, sounds like standing outside, but I could get a more quiet room
If you want to visit Bom Jesus the location is ideal but it is out of the city so you need a car. Room was large , a bit old style but comfortable. Breakfast was good and a nice view. Marcia was excellent, friendly and helpful.
Modern hotel and good location to visit Bom Jesus.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good. Very spacious room.Free parking, free Internet. Very nice view from the balcony.
The location for our purpose was very good, mostly to visit Dom Jesus. The staff was helpful beyond the call of duty. This appeared to be off season and the staff were filling many roles. Although the breakfast was a cold buffet it was very good. Other clients criticized the darkness - they practised energy conservation when they could.
Some of the furnishings in the hotel are 'tired'. However, the cost for a room for one night was so minimal that I would not expect 5* furnishings.
fantastic location, big and beautiful rooms, plenty of space, strong wi-fi signal
the garage is very narrow
Next to Bom Jesus Wonderful views Good hotel Good breakfast Nice team Nice rooms
Breakfast with portugeshe cakes Big room with good view Near by foot to the top of Bom Jesus
There were only 4 rooms occupied : why in this case put customers on touched rooms ! With noise of course... They put visa but it´s wrong
Very dated- dingy - no lights turned on
