Grande Hotel do Porto    

직원 분이 매우 친절하고 시설도 훌륭합니다. 찾기기 쉽지않지만 주차장에 도착시 안내원이 매우 친절하게 연결해 주었습니다. 물론 주차 비용은 지불하였습니다. 아뭏든 매우 좋은 호텔입니다. 아침 식사도 훌륭합니다. 전반적인 가격대비 만족도 높습니다. 단 강과 멀리 떨어져 있어서 접근이 어려웠지만 도보로 15분 정도 걸어서 내려가면 멋진 경치를 볼 수 있습니다. 돌아 올 때는 택시를 타면 됩니다. 4유로 정도면 호텔로 호텔 앞의 아바디아란 레스토랑은 정말 끝내 줍니다. 꼭 가보세요. 주차장 앞에 바로 있습니다.

너무 구석진 곳이라 초행길에 찾기 어려울 수 있습니다만 네비게이션을 이용하면 주차장으로 바로 갑니다.

we liked the style of the public areas

poor, even boring breakfast. We have paid less in the past at other hotels and received a much better meal

The design of the hotel, and the history behind it!

Staff was totally lacking manners and quite rough! Was given wrong advice on listening to fado music, ended up in a circus like show!

The history of past guests on the wall. The old world lounge areas reminiscent of days past. I loved the photos on the walls of celebrities and royalty. The breakfast was very good.

There was nothing we didn't like.

Elegant-quiet.in the mode of portugal of yesteryear. A charming eperience.

The reception staff were very friendly and helpful in everyway.. The room was a good size and very comfortable. The bathroom was modern and very large with marble walls and floor and a great deep tub.

The breakfst buffet was OK but could be more varied and interesting. Paying for and using the WiFi was complicated and time consuming for me and the reception staff. Most three star hotels have free and simple WiFi. For the nightly rate this hotel should have free Wi Fi.

I liked everything about the hotel. It's service , accomidations, and location.

good location comfortable good value for dinner and wine although rolls with meal cost 1.50 euro each.

breakfast was just adequate rooms spacious but sparten needing a women´s touch.

The original public areas on the ground level have a historical significance, and represent the value of an old but fine building. Also being on the main shopping/leisure street was a big plus.

The guest rooms were horrible from the design standpoint, no harmony to anything, lighting was terrible for any purpose, and the biggest disadvantage to the hotel is the view from the guestrooms. There is a statement that the guest rooms were refurbished in 2003, cannot envision any improvement or better facilities

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are comfortable and clean.

the access from the parkin to the reception is some how unconvenient

Our room was clean but very small and we were there for three days. The price was adequate and had it not been busy we would have gladly paid for an upgrade. My WiFi certainly didnt work in the room either.

The only thing I found was the staff were a bit rude, and as we were there for Easter Sunday was asked if they knew of any restaurants etc open and they just said everything would be closed! Of course we didnt find this to be the case but I was disappointed they didnt respond in a useful and helpful manner.

very friendly staff ! we were there for a 10 years marriage weekend and we told that against the reception ...the same evening there was champagne on the room for free !!

the music by the breakfast

Front desk staff was excellent: Diana and Christina, and the evening staff (female) when we checked in on 23-24 March (late after 2330) can't remember her name...outstanding service from all three women. She recommended the Italian restaurant down the street which was excellent.

Everything. All a hotel should be, pluc lovely public areas, when you need to get out of the rain (in our case) or the heat of summer! Central for shopping, sites, restaurants etc etc - real value for the money

The central location of the hotel.

The waiter in the dining room was rude. It took 40 minutes to get served. And there was only 4 tables being served. And he pushed the sugar across the table. Very rude.

The staff were superb, the bedrooms comfortable, the situation for a city trip with shopping excellent, the breakfasts had a good choice, and the ability to have sandwiches in the Windsor bar for supper, good secure parking.

Trying to get to the Hotel in the maze that surrounds Rua Santa Caterina. Best to park the car and leave it there for your stay

Everything about this hotel was good: location, food, value for money! Do not think about stay at another place if you go to Porto.

Great flexibility to accomodate my wife's birthday. Friendly and excedllent value for money. Centrally located and will definitely go back.

Location, tidyness, room

WiFi is not free..... in 2013 !!!

The hotel is in a great location, right in the middle of the city's main shopping street. The grand, historic feel of the hotel makes it a great place to stay in. The staff were unfailingly friendly and helpful, and the food in the restaurant was absolutely fantastic.

European hotels usually are dark and old.
