Location, view, cleanliness, breakfast Bathroom smelled moldy; small odd shaped shower with no grab bars and hard not to fall; tiny tv mounted far away on the wall with only a few channels |

This was our second stay at the Alcobia. We had a room at the front on the fourth floor with fine views of the castle above us. The room was clean and the staff fine. The recently expanded breakfast room made the 'breakfast experience' a lot less 'manic' than before. A very good base for exploring Lisbon and the surrounding area, with the Rossio metro station a few hunded meters away as well as bus/tram stops for Belem, etc. Several reasonable eating places only a few meters from the hotel. Just bear in mind there is a flight of steps up to reception from street level and another flight before you get to the lift. |

We was given a very large room with a king size bed, very comfortable. Location was very good, only a short distance to the main historic site which we liked, and the metro was just around the corner. We had to travel to Lisbon and the main bus station was bout 10 min walk away. |

Very clean and tidy. Excellent value for money. A great budget hotel in the heart of Lisbon. Area was a bit dodgy but I think Lisbon has big poverty issues any way. |

My time at the Hotel was most enjoyable with nice views of the Caslte and a perfect location for all ammenities in and around the city of lisbon Nothing really maybe slight noise traffic in the morning thats all |

The central location of the hotel means you can walk to many of Lisbon's sites or walk to the trams or train station in the adjacent Rossio. The location is also handy for good restaurants, bars ans cafes. |

Breakfast was well thought out. Roooms were comfortable. Lift was claustophobic and we were on top floor! Bathroom was very tiny. |

I was pleasantly surprised at the updated room/building---did not have the "old, run-down" feeling that I expected from it's age though it kept its charm. It's location to the airport shuttle was very nice. Weren't able to stay for breakfast--had an early flight so cannot comment there. They gave us a castle view as we'd requested when we booked. Nice people. |

It was inexpensive but quite adequate and clean. The location was ideal in the older part of Lisbon close to tourist amenities,shops and restaurants. The reception desk was on the first floor and the lift only started at the second floor. There were no staff to assist with luggage so the stairs posed a problem for two octogenerians! - but other guests came to the rescue with carrying cases as far as the lift. It was that sort of establishment |

It was noisy in the mornings when hotel guests were leaving due to the wooden floors and narrow hallways. |

The location was excellent, staff very friendly and helpful. Our room was a good size with french doors to a private balcony and had a view of the castle. |

Very comfortable, very clean, close to city centre. No wifi but adequate access to internet, polite and helpful staff. Top value and we would go there again. Carrying luggage to first floor lift was not a big problem, unless one was disabled. We knew about this beforehand. |

Very kind staff , extramly central location with few steps to metro and downtown, actually just in the central square but standin a bit quite area.Food is ok and there're few small very local restraurant surrounding.位置很理想非常市中心但是是安静区域。服务人员很热情是个老太太 Room is still a bit small of course although I booked double room for single use. Breakfast is continantal food very simple choice but taste good. 大陆早餐比较简单不能和国内星级酒店比但是味道还不错吃饱没问题。 |

Staff is friendly. Location is good, few minutes walk to Rossio station and minimart right across the corner. During reservation, I reqested for a room for view and was given one without extra charge. The hotel room commanded a great view on St. Geoges castle. The breakfast is fantastic! |

We were loooking for a hotel in centre of Lissboa. Perfect choice. A charming old city house hotel with old furnitures , price was quite good for, what we got. We got from little balcony view to the casle which I found nice. Personnel was friendly , breakfeast good. I can not say anything bad about the choice. |

We really enjoyed our stay. Wonderful location in the centre, which makes it great value for money. Staff is very friendly. Nice view and it's convenient that there's a shop around the corner. Good that there was a safe in the room. We will definitely stay there again. You have to wait a long time for the hot water to start up when you take a bath (probably because we were so high up) but it did come in the end and was fine, so it's not really a problem. |

Good situation for getting around on foot. This hotel is situated in a seedy part of the city, and the area is frequented by undesirables. The breakfast at the hotel is very basic. |
