The double room was very, very, very little. The "double" bed was very narrow and short. Same applies to bathroom. I think we were given a single "staff" room instead of the ordered double room... |

We loved the style, slightly faded. The staff are very friendly and very helpful and the breakfast is plentiful and good value. We shall recommend it to everyone. |

The facilities are bit too old but cozy and nice. Very close to the train station and the city center. Good staff, and good breakfast. Really enjoyed staying there. If only there were an electric pot available in each guestroom. |

Location and ease of access. Staff very helpful No other services like tea/coffee or bar available at any time. Hotel is very old (oldest in Porto) and needs upgraded in terms of services available to the modern traveller |

Terrific bkfst buffet; great old decor Great old, also goes with just old: plumbing is noisy - you can hear water running whenever someone a floor above flushes the toliet! |

The hotel is in a narrow old street, and does not look impressive from the outside. However we were delighted with the quaintness of the hotel which is 3 buildings joined together, creating lots of interesting spaces which have been turned into themed sitting rooms. Our room was spacious and airy. The dining room is magnificent, and the breakfast delicious. |

The hotel was full of character and charm, albeit rather faded. The breakfast was excellent. Good location. We liked it. The entrance to the hotel needs redecoration - it is a bit off-putting. Much better once inside! The shower was only a trickle. |

Its location and its faded grandeur and its magnificent dining room. The shower compartment sliding door is inadequate in width. I believe this is an issue in other rooms. |

Excellent location, just few minutes walk from train station, easy access to atractions, great breakfast, nice decoration of the public area of the hotel. My room is a bit noisy, no hair dryer. |
