Well laid out and maintained apartment. Great location in a residential yet central area, I felt more like I was living is Lisbon as opposed to a tourist.
My particular apartment was slightly dark, however for the price and quality I would not complain, next time I might request an apartment on a higher floor.
Location was bit far away from city center.
We have just returned from a 5 day stay. Lisbon is great for wandering around, taking in the sights and enjoying the many restaurants and bars. Metro and trams great for hopping on and off but it also easy to navigate on foot if u don't mind a few uphills. Tues or sat Flea market at Graca a must if u like that sort of thing. A selection of restaurants very close to apartments, all provided great food, hospitality and entertainment of different kinds.
Apartment clean, tidy. We stayed in ground floor oa. Shame not much daylight from windows but a good base for sleeping. Would benefit from TV in bedroom. Waredrobe damp and smelly which is a shame but overall good for price and location.
Free wifi, well equipped apartment (washing machine, dishwasher etc), friendly and helpful staff, acceptable distance from the city centre (30 minutes walk)
Definitely not for older people or with any movement problems since the stairway is really steep and narrow
I liked the access to all forms of transportation, selection of places to eat nearby, the apartment was modern and the facilities were good. Great wifi service, good selection of English speaking cable channels, nice air con. Pleasant stay, would recommend to friends!
Lack of information on area i.e. Supermarkets/map of supermarkets, Shower tray in bathroom didn't drain water away very quickly. Lack of light/windows in basement flat, lack of work surface in kitchen.
Everything was perfectly fine for us.
The two-level flat is partially in the basement, and the whole flat has almost no windows - very little natural light. For us it was not a problem really, but I believe it should be pointed out in the description.
Good location and friendly neighborhood. Wifi is very fast in room 4a.
1. Privacy (no shower curtain) 2. Cleanness (ant near the sofa area)
Cleanliness was superb
Modern furniture, twin toilets, washing machine, dishwasher, big TV, comfortable bed.
No windows, moldiness in basement, cooking utensil none apart from pots and pans, place not as clean as other places we've stayed with in Portugal.
The Appt was near a lovely Greek restaurant. It was also only mins away from Santos station. It was in a quiet street. Good wi-fi and TV had CNN and other English programmes. Washing machine, microwave and freezer were included. Would highly recommend this appt to anyone spending a few days visiting Lisbon.
Everything was perfect.
Good, central location. Good connections to city centre and Belem. Tidy enough and all the equipment needed for our four-day stay. Recommended. Handy cocktail bar, matin, less Han 1000 metres away. Plenty of restaurants and a pingo doce supermarket
Slightly damp bedroom downstairs was resolved by using air con at 28C.
clean, quiet, well placed
bit odd that everything is completed remotely, but it does make it a very private room..
Location, price, neighbourhood
Convenient location and very good facilities. The manager was very friendly and helpful A++.
Very well furnished in a quiet location close to convenient bus lines and a pleasant walk into the centre. The entry code system worked fine.
The hot water stopped working, the heater was noisy at night, and there weren't any blankets. After some confused communication I was moved to a larger more comfortable top apartment. But the stairs to it were very steep and the shower toiletries ran out.
The location was great and everything was clean and well decorated! Very cheap when comparing to similar deals in other European cities. Lisbon is fascinating... Last but not the least Mafalda was very helpful!
Close to busstops and tramstops. Railwaystation is a 10 - 15 min walk. Bairro Alto is 15 - 20 min walk. Wifi works exccellent. Room is cleaned daily. All amenities present (toaster, coffeemachine, waterboiler, refrigerator (with freezer), washingmachine and dishwasher). Towels available.
Noise, noise noise! The moment someone enters the building at night, you are wide awake. The wooden stairs aren't soundproof, neither are the doors. In the rooms the floors squeak. We had a room on the third floor and we had the misfortune to have an upstairs neighbour who left te building at 4 AM every morning! We didn't have a single night that wasn't interrupted. But even when our nextdoor neighbours were talking, walking around or watching television, we were able to hear it clearly. Honestly, I wouldn't recommend this place...
Walking distance to the cruise terminal we sailed from. Modern decor, flat screen tv. When we called to complain about the smell of the bathroom, they cleaned it so it no longer smelled after, so must have used a clean towel. The suite itself was newer and clean. The maid came everyday not just at the end of the stay. Very small apt, no table to eat at so we ate on the bed.
It was very dark with no natural sunlight in the apt, very odd layout and not well laid out ie sofa was in an odd spot with a wall about 5 ft in front of it so we didn't use it as it seemed like wasted space. There was no one to provide information, pamphlets like some vacation rental owners provide to their guests. We could call their management on the phone in the hallway but it's not the same where you can take your time and discuss where to eat, visit, things to do, etc. Could not understand them very well on the phone either and did not give us clear directions where the supermarket was. The cleaner must have used a dirty towel to wipe down the bathroom as it smelled like that the first night. Small pillows and mattress almost too firm, sheets kept coming off the bed.
Very easy access, good information sent out about how to find it, very good public transport close by to all main attractions, can come and go as please, very comfortable.
Hallway had a flickering light which I couldn't use, poor reception on TV and no TV remote.
all the equipment are morden!
