Hotel Luar  

Well situated on cliff top just to edge of town so close enough for restaurants in evening yet far enough away from bustle and noise of main strip of Portimao. About two thirds of rooms have side sea views over adjacent beach and sea, with superb views from upper floors. Good English from very helpful staff, regular cleaning, private balconies with 2 chairs and table for all rooms, Private mini bar and fridge, though limited satellite television (only 2 English language channels with 8 or so in Portugese). Air con to all rooms. Self service buffet breakfast with excellent coffee, bacon, eggs and wholemeal breads makes bed and breakfast good value for money Fairly safe free parking outside hotel. Private pool and sun loungers.

More English TV channels such as Sky or BBC would be welcome.

Great location, would stay a third time !

we had a spacious veranda facing the sun . the position of hotel luar is perfect, 50 yards from the beach and 100 yards from good eating places where the prices I thought were excellent and the quality of the sea food amazing.the area is very flat and good for walking on pavements or recently constructed boardwalks right along the long sandy beaches. the scenery on wallks into Pria de vou or Alvor is amazing . the continental breakfast is perfect and all that is required.We had a very comfortable week in Hotel Luar, our third time staying there. Excellent value.

the hotel shuttle bus as shown on the website was not available and only private taxi which was too expensive. we made our own arrangements

Boa localização a um bom preço.

O ar condicionado não funcionava corretamente, só dava um pouco frio ou um pouco de calor. O comando da tv não funcionava por completo e o frigorífico era um pouco barulhento nada que não se pudesse contornando desligando.

Cicho I spokojnie ale blisko do knajpek I sklepów,plaża wspaniała piaszczysta położona około 15 metrów poniżej deptaka zatem leżąc nie widać hoteli I ulicy tylko skały I rośliny.Polecam wypad do Portimao szczególnie do knajpki "o mane" należy pamiętać że Praia da Rocha to miejscowość typowo turystyczna zatem warto wypożyczyć auto żeby zwiedzić wybrzeże

Los servicios de habitación podrían mejorarse...y sobre todo el desayuno, no había nada de fruta ni dulces ni yugurs.

Gostei de tudo, mas o que mais me agrada neste hotel é o trato ternurento e sempre prestavel de todo o pessoal que ai trabalha e reconfortante ir para um local onde além do romantismo do hotel luar, podermos -nos sentir como se estivessemos na nossa casa.Deixo aqui o bem haja a todos os funcionários do hotel.

El servicio era eficiente, más o menos nos resolvieron todas las dudas y problemas que nos fueron surgiendo, como por ejemplo la reserva del coche de alquiler. El desayuno estaba bien, no era muy variado pero la calidad era buena. La piscina estaba muy limpia y cuidada, igual que el jardín.

Si la habitación que te toca es interior, tiene mucho ruido. Por la avenida en la que está el hotel pasan muchos coches toda la noche. Y además la nevera, al menos la de nuestra habitación, también hacía bastante ruido.
