Staff very helpful.Several staff carried our large suitcases up/down the stairs. Large nice room. Large bed for 2. Plenty of closet space. Excellent value.
Breakfast limited. No lift (elevator)
Comfortable room, good breakfast and friendly staff. What else do you need? Pool, night club or fancy reception hall. Not me. Thank you.
This hotel is easy to find (by using the slip road running down from the overhead roundabout). The building is a little strange and the reception rather spartan but the single level accommodation on the first floor is modern, light and well decorated and perfectly suited for the purpose. The breakfast room is light and airy and the breakfast itself is very good quality and presented buffet style. Instead of the usual hard croissants one often finds in Portugal the hotel's croissants are flaky and light (French style). The bed linen is good although the pillows are not good for anyone who prefers a soft pillow.
Like many hotels the televisions are old style and the controller in our room was well used. Time to upgrade to flat-screen and HD
Location near airport. Loads of TV channels, bathtub and overall bathroom in pristine condition.
Only think I would suggest - and this is just a suggestion, not a criticism - is that a kettle, teabags, milk and sugar could be introduced into the rooms. This is something people coming from Ireland and the UK appreciate, so by doing this, the hotel would probably gain more clients.
Good location. Accommodating Staff.
Comfortable room and good breakfast
Great for first and last night stay. Friendly helpful staff
No lift although the staff were willing to carry bags.
Ideal for early flight - quiet, very comfortable room
SatNav coordinates seem to be a few metres out, so drove past on main road rather than taking earlier turn to parallel road - not a great prob in daylight.
Very friendly staff - even in the middle of the night very helpful. Triple room was huge, everything available, so one did not even have to unpack. Good breakfast in a nice room.
It´s nowhere I would like to stay longer, since located along the highway, but we knew that, so it was totally okay. The double windows did not let any noise of the street in.
Good bed good sleep restaurant is very good lots of English speaking TV channels.
No bar no food other than restaurant that opens at 7pm. Arrived at 3pm looking for a sandwich and a beer after a 3 hour flight only to be told there was no food available until the restaurant opened had to walk a mile to a supermarket along the main drag to the airport (very scary). Ok for one night but not any longer.
Airport convenience - staff hospitality- restaurant
Lack of elevator
NEAR TO THE AIRPOSRT MOST CONVENIENT FOR THT AND A VERY NICE ESTABLISHMENT TOO
Our bikebags were brought in the rooms. Very nice!
Booked hotel because of early flght so proximity to airport was great. Staff were very helpful in hotel and in restaurant.
No overhead lighting in room only lamps was a little odd. hot water for shower in early am took a while to run through when I wanted to be quick for early flight. otherwise all good.
Delightful, helpful staff, excellent rooms (in terms of size & facilities), high quality of food at breakfast and spotlessly clean throughout. Excellent value all round.
close to the airport, quiet and clean
no croissants in breakfast. no shampoo in bathroom fridge too noisy
Very clean, lovely comfy bed and big bathroom. Good location for airport.
Location was great for catching an early morning flight. The room was very large and clean. We had dinner in the restaurant next door and it was really good. It was also nice that breakfast was available to us before 5:00 in the morning.
Location, staff friendliness, welcome with a smile, helpful.
Could not open windows for fresh air
This is a hostel, however I would rate it as a 3 stars hotel. Spacious room. Reasonable breakfast.
The should find a solution for the missing lift a problem; e.g. install a small lift for the luggage. It it far away from Faro but very close to the airport. Faro is not an interesting city anyway.
The location IF you want the Airport/main roads at your doorstep. The spaciousness of the room/bathroom. The restaurant downstairs excellent faire & very reasonable.
The stairs to the 1st floor are treacherous for young & old and anyone carrying heavy bags. Electrical points need to be checked and fixed, the bathroom in 104 plug in socket dislodged from wall.
This was our last hotel at the end of a fortnight travelling by train around Spain.( I know Faro is in Portugal.) We had a brilliant off season price for this hotel which is conveniently near the airport and a convenient short walk to the local bus stop to access both the old town and the beach. The receptionists both spoke excellent English and were able to supply local information. We had a 04.45 wake up call,an early, excellent breakfast and a booked taxi for the airport as requested. The room was a spacious en suite, absolutely clean and tastefully decorated. We had a peaceful sleep in comfortable beds. There are masses of channels to chose from on the TV, free wifi, and free drinks machine. I wouldn't hesitate to use the Frangaria again and certainly recommend it.
For us there was nothing to dislike.
The size of rooms and cleanliness, the staff are really helpful,Early breakfast available for early flights.Airport literally 5 minutes away also good soundproofing if you are in a room on the front and good aircon.Free fresh Coffee and cold water.
Nothing apart from very little outside space.
Not far from airport. Walking to airport takes 20min, to Faro- 40min. Tasty juice. Reception printed our boarding passes. Many TV channels.
No sidewalks on the road if you walk to airport.
very comfortable rooms and great breakfast included
perhaps a little more direction on location from airport for those not familiar with roads
