The staff was super friendly and helpful! In the evening guests and staff were sitting on the roof top terrace having a drink, very nice atmosphere!
people coming back from pub crawls are mostly not the mist quiet ones... not cool if you have to catch an early flight...
- good location, close to train and bus station, the airport bus stop is just in front of the hostel - good kitchen - clean toilet and shower
location reception clean
maybe breakfast is too simple like a student house and only one kind of bread no other section but basicly is a decent hotel worth visit again
dinner on the terrace every night, it's a good chance to meet people and the food is also great
Cosy, comfortable family feel. Staff all friendly and take you out if you want to go. As it is a small hostel facilities are limited but a good place to stay for a night or two.
i appreciate first the owner which was always here to manage the hostel and of course with the amazing team, they are all here to be sure that everything is ok and let you feel as at home :)
The staff was amazing. I felt like I met old friends. Everything was so easy going and nice. A lot of useful tips at very beginning (honestly I didn't expect there is so much to enjoy in Faro). I didn't feel like in hostel I had an impression someone invited me directly to his home. We ended our roadtrip through Portugal here and we couldn't choose better.
There was nothing what I didn't like about the hostel. If I really need to give a suggestion for improvement I would by stronger lights into the rooms and hall. Current ones are quite weak and it makes the place a little dark in the evening which I don't like in general.
The host, Ricardo, is a very friendly, helpful and cool guy. The staff at the hostel are all like that. The dinners with all the sangria you can drink are very good.
It is quite noisy during the night with lots of buses passing the hostel on the way to the bus terminal.
Stuff is super friendly and helpful. Hostel is not big, super cosy and has a wonderful terrace. Nice breakfast, clean, not noisy. Well located near the train station and the city centre in a calm neighbourhood.
You have to pay for luggage storage on the day of your leave if you leave it after 13.00
Everybody was very helpful and gave us excellent advice about where to go and what to visit in town. Our room was always very clean and well looked after ... Definitely would come back !! . Ricardo Mendonca ... Amazing person !!
Noisy after 23:00 hrs, banging doors till late (sometimes around 3am) and loud talk... hard to sleep like that.
good location, nice breakfast, staff is nice, nice terrace, very clean and quiet place!
could be to quiet for party people ;)
Very warm and friendly staff! Great location and breakfast Hostel was very clean throughout Nice vibe about the whole place with Ricardo and his great staff! This is the place to stay in Faro.
Great staff, really cool roof terrace to chill on, the hostel was always really clean
Very nice hostel, friendly and welcoming staff, they are always ready to help you and to talk and have drinks with you ! Perfect if you want to meet other backpackers, a good place to stay if you want to discover the Algarve coast
A bit expensive compared to the other hostel I'm Portugal but all the hostel in Faro seem to be that expensive so I still recommend it !
Very friendly staff, excellent location
Very noisy, seems like sleeping on the street...but maybe because My own flat is a very quite place, and really can't bear with the noisy cars' sounds any more..didn't sleep much, waken up every hour...
Staff were great. David went out of his way to get some extra info we were after. Really appreciated that. Location was good also. Room kept very clean. The terrace in the private double was nice. On the first day I accidentally left the breakfast we made on the terrace table and it was cleaned up, I didn't expect the hostel to do that!
The private double room was expensive. Lights in room are dim. The bed was too thin, when I sat I felt the wood supports. The room is noisy as the road is right outside, On our last night two dogs on the patio opposite barked constantly at anything that went past until late.
Clean, lots of space but expensive for what you got.
Expensive for double room, vvery loud as at a corner where traffic turns all through the night
Very friendly staff . Location
€13 cab from airport. Next door to train station. 24 hour check in Spacious Clean bathrooms with hot water and good pressure.
More bathrooms on ground floor would be good. Constant traffic thru the night.
Hostel 33 is great to stay for one or two nights. Has a small kitchen and place to have a dinner or to work on terrasse. good internet connection.
Hostel really new and clean. You can find everything you need in the kitchen for make your own food. Staff really helpful and nice. Probably the best localization possible in Faro - near the train station, the airport bus stop and many pubs and restaurants. The owner Ricardo is always around the hostel for make sure the guest are having a good experience.
The hostel is closer to the train station than it is showed in the map (good thing). It's like 20 steps from the station. Very close to the bus station and the center too. Ricardo was a great host. He sent me to a cheap & delicious restuarant and gave me great advice about the town. Ilha deserta is a great & beautiful island! Not touristic and very calm :D with all the birds around you will feel like you are in paradise :)
I like the warmeness of the staff, and the openess of the place.
They are very close to the train station. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable.
The staff were very friendly, and the terrace to have breakfast is great.
Shared rooms should have a small lamp/light in each bed in order to not turn on the big central one each time someone comes in or out.
