Hotel Açores Lisboa  

All was very good, but I would like to praise the reception desk staff: impeccable! They went out of the way to meet our requests. Extremely friendly. The purpose of our trip to Lisbon was to run a marathon (42k); when arriving back at the hotel, after a strenuous effort under 30 degrees Celsius, we were welcomed with smiles and applause, in spite of the somewhat late check out. Unlike on a previous visit when I stayed there as a couple there was no facility for hot water, tea ,and coffee. I was looking forward to this facility. As the price was the same as before I felt this spoil my stay there

Good value for the money and great location, perfect if you want to visit the Luz Stadium like we did, the metro station is just in front of the hotel, city center is on the 5th station in one direction, Luz Stadium is on the 4th station in the other direction, very easy and cheap to explore the city.

Sound isolation is good and we were on a higher floor so we didn't notice it untill the next day, it's just a minor thing, metro station is just below the hotel and because of that you can sence the metro when you are on the ground floor, at breakfast for example, at night it's quiet because the metro is closed after 01:00. Also the hotel is close to the airport and it looks like the plane route when approaching the airport is above the hotel so you can hear and see every plane approaching the airport. But those 2 minor isues didn't bother us at all really.

Nice and clean rooms....though small in size, but then hotel rooms in Europe are this size only.

The best hotel stay I have ever had, the room for the romantic deal was class with no issues. Really nice stay and great value.

Hotel was perfect. Food at the restaurant was really good and also the breakfast was great, we could find salty and sweet things including tipical Pastej de Nada, yogurt, cakes, fruit, eggs, bacon, cheese and ham. Room was wonderful with a nice view. Hotel staff were always available to provide clarification and help.I Needed to print a document and they gave me half hour of free internet and free access to the printer. We had two small issue with tv and air conditioning and the staff came immediately and quickly fixed them. Metro entrance is in front of the hotel.

The parking is not easy to find as it is behind the hotel but not indicated by any roadsign. The hotel park has limited spaces so we had to leave the car outside for 3 night out of 4.If you take the car in the morning and come back in the evening it will be difficult to find free places. You can park for free behind the hotel but keep attention as we found the small lateral glass of the car broken by vandalism in the morning (the same happened to all the car in the street). This leaded to a really stressed day with a waste of time and money to repair it. The main street in front of the hotel has limited places and you will have to pay the ticket there.

Hotel location was perfect, breakfast was also very nice

Free Internet access is actually only one computer working. Have to wait for long time to use. Wi-fi are too expensive.

Breakfast was ok. Nice view from the room. Free private parking, but with few spots. Very close to the sobway station.

Internet connection very expensive.

Car parking faciliities and a decent breakfast.

Difficult to access the car park as there is no direct entrance from the front.

All around good value and an excellent food in their restaurant. We choose to extend our stay there.

It is a nice hotel, the room are very well decorated, with good quality material, good noise isolation, and good breakfast

To be disturbed twice at the door, one at 9 am and again at 11 am, when the cleaning lady actually did come in the room without warning, small praking place under the hotel, also breakfast area is too small for such a big hotel.
