Hotel Aviz  

Room big, clean and comfortable and with a good price/quality ratio; breakfast have good quality and wide choice. Good Position, near Underground station and Bus Terminal (Bus #22 From airport) is optimal to take a tour of the city. 3 Undergroun stop from Rossio Station (Train to Sintra) The staff is friendly.

I stayed at the Hotel Aviz for 3 nights with a friend. It was our first visit to Lisbon (not our last) and the staff really made our trip enjoyable. They were so helpful and recommended good restaurants which were not too expensive but in really good locations. The recommendation for a Fado restaurant was also excellent. A great spot near all the amenities especially the Lisbon bus tour which was excellent. We really had a great time. Lovely breakfast included too!

The staff was excellent: their kindness, assistance, professionalism, elegance and effectiveness, along with their well-mannered way and their continuous genuine care to make guests' stay as comfortable as possible, made me feel 'at home' -with plenty of laid-back, chic too!!!

Excellent location - just one block from Avenida Liberdade (3 minutes walk form subway station Marques Pombal), small but tastefully furnished rooms, generous breakfast.

The staff and the restaurant are excelent! The location is fantastic too. It is very close to the subway and is very easy to walk around. I do recommend.

The Hotel Aviz is conveniently located on the outskirts of the city center. It is located next to the Metro and the main street, Liberdade. The staff was very friendly. The breakfast buffet was very nice.

The Hotel Aviz is a first class hotel and a wonderful place to stay for an extended stay in Lisbon. The hotel staff is professional and personable and very helpful in providing useful information in responses to questions. The hotel is easily accessible from the airport by bus or taxi. The rooms are well designed with good space and modern spacious bathrooms. The full breakfast included in the room rate provides many options and is excellent value. We highly recommend the Hotel Aviz and would have no reservation in recommending it to others considering a a visit to the beautiful city of Lisbon.

Good location, friendly athmosfer

Hotel staff were very helpful and friendly The twin room we had was very nice and quite large. It seemed to be more well appointed than the suite that we had to have for one night. The twin room is definitely worth the money but the suite is not worth the extra. Very convenient to have a restaurant in the hotel as we returned very late one night and did not want to go out. Breakfast has a good selection. It could use a bit of a facelift, but The Aviz is a wonderful older hotel w/ a great deal of history.

Not a conplaint, more of a caution- but the bathroom floors are very slippery when wet Use care getting in and out of the shower. I am quite athletic and I almost landed on my head!
