Poor wifi connectivity in room. No hooks to hang towels in the bathroom
Location, cost, staff
No tea/coffee making facilities in room
The staff were friendly and helpful and the hotel was very central location. Excellent value for money although we chose to have breakfast in one of the many cafes nearby.
Nothing - this is a good quality budget hotel.
Staff very helpful and great access to all key tourist areas.
Adjacent building verandah houses a multitude of itinerants.
Friendly and helpful staff, excellent location, nice and comfortable rooms.
Breakfast area was extremely busy with no place to sit with long and slow queues to take food. Since many reviews mention this, the hotel must do something about it, as it seems to always happen. Otherwise we liked the hotel very much.
Easy to find from railway station (although we took the narrow back street first time). Luxury shower head (the big flat wide one). Combination door locks. The feeling that you are in a cinema when walking along the corridors. Corridor lights that come on automatically. Pleasant breakfast area with very adequate choice of food including a delicious selection of pastries. A tourist tram passes right in front.
No room safe. No bar. But it's possible to live without these when the price of the room is very reasonable and the decor is so pleasant. rooms were a bit bare with no wardrobe but if you are prepared for this then it's not a problem either. For the price, this B&B hotel was excellent value.
- Good value for a buck, although you should count in breakfast and parking when calculating your final cost. - Pretty modern look, clean and neat.
- Showers have no doors, so half bathroom is wet after your shower no matter how careful are you. - Black switches are invisible on dark brown wall panels.
location, price, convenient parking, good staff
small rooms, typically tight access to parking
prefer sheet rather than just duvet as duvet too hot
This minimalist hotel focuses in a no-nonsense way on what a traveller needs. It is excellent value for money, well situated and comfortable in a chic no-frills way. The staff were obliging and friendly.
We spent 2 nights in porto and were surprised about B&B Porto Centro - it was stylish, very clean, nice stuff ( talking a few languages ), good breakfast - and the price wasn't very high. Excellent choice, only a good memories ! :)
Location near everything New facility Value for the price Very helpful staff
Central location. quite in hotel.
Close to Porto center. Well-renovated building. Private-parking - no care for car.
clean comfy bed great soundproofing good breakfast choice
huge breakfast queue and limited seating
location design sound proofing choice at breakfast
huge breakfast queue and lack of seating
Fabulous building and décor. Helpful staff. Good undercover parking Close to heart of the city. Comfortable guests' lounge.
Overpriced breakfast. No hairdryer, fridge or valuables safe in room. Cramped clothes storage. Wifi access difficult.
central location,good value
no waste bin in bedroom,no tea/coffee making in rooms
Very good location, comfy bed.
The breakfast was very crowded at times, especially when big groups would come all at once. Although the food never ran out, waiting in the queue to get your food was a bit annoying.
Location central, very smart ex theratre, staff friendly and helpfull
The hotel was walkable to many of the major sites. The staff were friendly and helpful, and gave us a great recommendation for dinner. The room was not a bad size for the price and the shower was good. The common areas were inviting, and the vending machines with coffee were helpful in the mornings. The room was quiet and dark.
The pillow was terrible and the bed only ok. It was a bit disconcerting to open the door to a pitch black hallway. I understand saving money with motion sensor lights, but it felt a tiny bit unsafe.
- location -rather new, so in good condition - best value for money :)
- breakfast 6€, a bit expensive, better go in rua santa catarina to get some pasteis and coffee - not much to say on the hotel itself
Imposing facade, modern, central and close to the train station, cultural places, restaurants and shops. Helpful and polite staff. Room small quite and clean also clean sheets and towels. Bed comfortable and Air conditioning worked well.
Restricted, not room enough for luggage. A piece of furniture needs to be added in the room to put luggage on, so as not to leave it on the floor. Breakfast ok but not a wide choice.
For budget purposes this was an excellent choice.
Terrible view and in a bit of a scruffy neighbourhood (although central)
Helpful staff. Great central location. Quiet comfortable rooms. Good breakfast. It had all we needed
